the cars in forza 4 are WAY to shiny. so shiny they are unrealistic, my father washed his car like 3 times and i helped and the car did not get that shiny.(we were trying to get the car to look like forza cuz i saw a pic of it).
It's funny for me, I played Forza 3 for 2 years, and during that time I played GT5 at a mates and it was shocking. Then about a month ago I felt like reliving my childhood and getting a Playstation and GT, 5 in this case. And it was a COMPLETELY different game to the one I played at a mates about a year and a half ago - UPDATES have made GT5 move ahead I reckon... And I love the game. Forza starts looking cartoony and inaccurate when put aside GT5 (especially the Japanese cars).
Then I played these games, I thought GT5 is REAL DRIVING simulator, Forza is car DECORATING&RACING simulator. I think both video games have good different feature point.

@Mainiac1221 yes thats true but not all cars shown in this vid are autovista cars. In autovista you can only choose between about 20 cars (I haven't count the cars :D)

You sir, do not know how to take pics in GT5, you just downloaded the pictures of Forza, which is why they looked better. People who made the game took those pictures, that is why it looks good (they are too shiny).

I personally don't mind owning any of them. I own a PS3 and not an Xbox so I have GT5. I also have the driving force gt wheel. Before i would hate using the controller, but now I can't stop playing.
@gavinbrock i liked pgr3 a lot but for some reason i could never get into pgr4. must be because when i played it it was cutting-edge. then my first 360 3rl'd and missing my good old pgr3 i played the shit out of forza 1 again (on my xbox1). when i got another 360, 1 year later, i also got a lcd screen. but i was tired of racing games. then pgr4 came and i was like "huh, i could swear that pgr3 looked and played better than this).
then a year or so later forza 3 came and i never played pgr again
It is a great dispute chart, but the Forza Motorsport4 only have pictures of cars stopped. The Forza Motorsport4 is better for it. If only I had pictures of speeding cars would be a great graphic disputa.O Gran Turismo 5 is great, but only in cars, because the rest you can see that it is computing. Face it people. PS3 can handle twice as much as 360. So that means bigger games and better graphics. Thats why Forza only looks good in autovista. Whereas GT5 looks good in pictures AND gameplay. GT5 for the win.

Like 2D trees everywhere, Look at the people in the stands. The car premium car models look great better than Forzas driving models and = to there auto vista cars. Standard race cars look ok but no cockpits and standard normal cars look kinda shit. I own GT5 and don't own Forza so I know guy. ;)
@Kuson2 The new city ones are amazing with the buiuldings and scenery. But there is no need for 3D trees when your going 200mph. The people actually moe which is cool, since GT5 has an amazing human side.

Hilarious, all of forza's sales aren't anywhere near as good at GT's, I've played both games. But GT always wins even from the first games. Forza is good, but they spend to much time on detail and shit, plus how can you even compare a Simulator game, and an Arcade game?

@jobadkins34 Forza cars don't have 1 000 000 polygons unfortunetaly. Auto Vista models do have 1mlj polys (and there is 25 Auto vista models) Check your sources... oh sorry, I forgot that Turn 10 never releases any valid polygon counts to their cars. I'm sorry, of course you don't know.

By personal expereince, Forza 4, when plugged into my computer monitor (1280x1024) Via HDMI to DVI(digital) It gives you the best gameplay quality, way better than hdmi, I can say that forza 4, at first playing I literally thought the cars were off of a video. Not only did they do wonders on the cars, but the enviroment around it as well. Fully rendered trees, mountains, tracks, grass, water, everything else was made with HDR photography, but it actually looks 3d, unlike gt5's flat backdrops.

@MrUppmas im just saying, when i played the forza 4 demo, it's actually good, but im not a fan of forza. i grew up with the gt series and my favorite gt game is gt2
1: pictures shown to the public in shows like E3 are always shopped a little or drawn from scratch. 2: comparing a screen taken in an inside environment to one taken in an outside environment is the dumbest way to compare something. Too many variables in place: lighting, materials, etc. If the bodies of F4 look glossier than GT5's it DOES NOT MEAN F4 has better graphics. 3: You will probably ignore this 'cause you are all busy with your childish fankid-war which leans on invalid arguments.

Also the point of these type of videos is to get a debate going in the comments section, 99% of people who watch this video are fully aware of each game's graphics and will ignore the video completely.

There is a huge problem with most of these images, they were all taken in completely different lighting conditions. you should take all the images with the car sitting in the middle of the road at laguna seca for example at the same time of day facing the same direction before you can compare at all.

gt5 can't look as good as f4 because of the 1000+ cars it has but at the same time when i played f3 the same tracks kept poping up. i will say this gt has alwas been about the real driving and f4 is da best 360 racing game. there is no one better than the other because in a way there two different racing games

Hilarious, all of forza's sales aren't anywhere near as good at GT's, I've played both games. But GT always wins even from the first games. Forza is good, but they spend to much time on detail and shit, plus how can you even compare a Simulator game, and an Arcade game?

I'll tell you the straight truth.Forza 3 was and is a gorgeous game.Forza 4 is beyond my expectations of a racing game.It is so gorgeous and photo-realistic that it's scary.GT5 is a gorgous game too with 200 of there cars topping the 500+ in forza 3 but I personally would rather have 500+ cars with 300,000 polygons then 200 with 400,000.Forza 4 has 500+ cars right now and there 1,000,000 polygons and that is truly mind blowing.I love all 3 games!Forza 4 is the victor by a mile!

@jobadkins34 Forza cars don't have 1 000 000 polygons unfortunetaly. Auto Vista models do have 1mlj polys (and there is 25 Auto vista models) Check your sources... oh sorry, I forgot that Turn 10 never releases any valid polygon counts to their cars. I'm sorry, of course you don't know.

By personal expereince, Forza 4, when plugged into my computer monitor (1280x1024) Via HDMI to DVI(digital) It gives you the best gameplay quality, way better than hdmi, I can say that forza 4, at first playing I literally thought the cars were off of a video. Not only did they do wonders on the cars, but the enviroment around it as well. Fully rendered trees, mountains, tracks, grass, water, everything else was made with HDR photography, but it actually looks 3d, unlike gt5's flat backdrops.

1: pictures shown to the public in shows like E3 are always shopped a little or drawn from scratch. 2: comparing a screen taken in an inside environment to one taken in an outside environment is the dumbest way to compare something. Too many variables in place: lighting, materials, etc. If the bodies of F4 look glossier than GT5's it DOES NOT MEAN F4 has better graphics. 3: You will probably ignore this 'cause you are all busy with your childish fankid-war which leans on invalid arguments.

Also the point of these type of videos is to get a debate going in the comments section, 99% of people who watch this video are fully aware of each game's graphics and will ignore the video completely.

There is a huge problem with most of these images, they were all taken in completely different lighting conditions. you should take all the images with the car sitting in the middle of the road at laguna seca for example at the same time of day facing the same direction before you can compare at all.
