This concept of police over an area of a city is a standing military that grows as a city takes over smaller cities through annexing. A dis-entangling of an area from a large city to fight this centralization of power that will lead to a centralized point of failure is difficult because ,governments enjoy growing.

I think the best way to bring the government to the table is for everyone to stop buying luxury tax goods for a week (at first), gasoline,tobacco,alcohol,perfumes,etc, the drop in revenue would hit them, needs to be organised, and everyone slowly store up enough for that week. let us not forget, THEY NEED US. people can peacefully refuse to buy government taxed goods in an organised manner, no beatings, no arrests. no illegal activities.

Not only did the cops harass the journalist preventing him from recording/photographing the event, but anyone else notice the NYPD officer with his hand video camera filming the the ones recording the cops' behavior?
