  • Well said Gossage54. I was 14 that year to. What a team the Giants and the Mets in 86. I wish someone would post this whole game.

  • @mets1617 I remember 1986 as well. My dad was station over in UK. Getting VHS tapes from my uncle in NY. Remember when George Martin intercepted Elway and return it for a TD.

  • @jfriedmann81 . yes I remember that play like yesterday watching it with my family going crazy. Great play. Great memories

  • I was 14, remember this season very well. What a great season to be a Giants fan, the 90 season was special too but in 86 we just dominated. The 80s were total NFC domination. Seeing these old clips makes me feel like a kid on a cold winter's day again, hearing Summerall and Madden's voices. What a great D, Billy Bellichick at the helm.

  • I love how Joe Morris scored , no histrionics, he crossed the goal line and just handed the ball to the official. Total old-school, total class.

  • Man, I was just a baby when these great NFC powers ruled the 80s and watching these old clips just give me chills. Walsh's 49ers, Parcells's Giants, Gibbs's Redskins, Ditka's Bears (I'm a HUGE Bears fan FYI).........GREAT stuff!

  • Wish the networks would stop muffling out the crowd noise from the telecasts.

  • Joe Morris would have been a great Fantasy Football RB if it was around. He scored touchdowns by the bushel

  • I was 8, and I still remember this season. 14-2, blowing out the Niners, Shutting out the Skins, and stopping the Elway powered Broncos in the Super Bowl. I have been a Giants' fan all my life. They were the first thing I ever knew about football.

  • While I'm not always a fan of Madden, the Summerall/ Madden broadcasting tandem is thee greatest in NFL football history. And here, hearing Summerall say "Morris--is gonna score!", I still get chills.

  • I agree...madden summerall was a good booth team...but I would still give Al Michaels the go ahead as far as individual play by play commentators go...

  • I agree. Hearing Madden and Summerall's voices makes me feel like a kid again. Watching great NFC rivalries in front ot the tube on cold winter days. It is a real comforting feeling hearing their two voices calling a game. The NBC/AFC announcers like Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen never gave me the same feeling. Too cold and clinical. Madden and Summerall bring me back to being a kid on a snowy day sitting Indian style in front of the old TV eating junk food watching the great NFC rivalries.

  • @Gossage54 AGREED.

  • @Gossage54 i totaly agree with you it does remind me of when i was a kid its awesome to look back.

  • @nyisl280 amen brother

  • Same here. I was 10 at the time and I wasn't too much into Football back then. So please post the entire game.

  • I will post to you the same as to the user below.

On August 25th, Warner Brothers is releasing the Giants' Greatest Games DVD collection. It is a 10-disk set that includes the FULL TELEVISION BROADCAST of Super Bowls XXI, XXV, XLII along with the Giants' Championship victories over the Redskins in 86, 49ers in 90, and Vikings in 2000. Also, the Divisional matchups between the 49ers, Bears, and Eagles. So essentially, the full broadcast of all the Giants' Super Bowl playoff runs.

  • Wow,I was only 3 years old when the giants won this game. If you can please post the rest of this game, I would really appreciate it.
