That Oil is Really good. I use to use it and My Hair was at its best. Whewn I stopped using it I started to get dangriff< So It deffinatly makes a difference

Im so glad i found this video. Its kinda giving me the courage to finally cut my hair. Ive been transitioning for 11 months && I have so much new growth but the processed ends are annoying me lol. I've decided that I'm gonna cut my hair but just the relaxed ends. I've never had short hair so I'm scared that short hair won't look good on me but I'm willing to take the risk to have healthier hair. U have really nice hair. I noticed u said u didn't use sulfate based shampoos bc it dries ur hair. I

@jodyjoe88 Hey thats great! Yes..only cut off the relaxed ends! I transitioned for 11 months too and my relaxed ends made it really tiring to deal with my hair and be gentle with it so i had to cut them off :) and No i don't use shampoo at all anymore.

@susannabanana79 Well since i started using eco style it can get a bit crunchy/firm lol but i just squeze it a few times and it feels better, just really firm.  But the gel im using in this video, the IC fantasia does not make your hair crunchy at all..its a nice soft hold :)

Good for you! I bought that same coconut hair lotion stuff to try it out but I don't use it because of the cones... I'm giving that away along with some of my company's products to Hairs A Thought's deployment drive. They are collecting hair products for naturals overseas in the military in places where they can't get products for natural hair...If you have any other products that you don't use, you should def look into passing them on :) You can find them on Facebook :)

what products did you use while transitioning? I did the BC and when it grew out a little, i caved and relaxed again because i wanted it to look longer :/ so I just want to transition now but i have no idea what products will help my natural as well as relaxed. if you could suggest any that would be great thanks. love your hair!

It's going to take a long time for me to get used to this new hair but I think watching your videos will inspire me. It's funny:), my spiral curls are 10x smaller than yours :D and I'd do my hair similar to yours before I chopped it again. By watching your tutorial I probably shouldve sectioned my hair while I was styling to define my curls lol well I'll do that when it grows out again :D

Love your hair! My hair was apl and I recently cut 2 1/2 inches, but I agree with you. It's definitely a shock to the system to cut it all off at once. I am almost 12 weeks post relaxer. I hope my journey goes well. I am happy for you.

I use a shampoo that does not have sulfates, but gets rid of the "cones". It is called Organix. I use the coconut milk shampoo. It may work for you.

what are "cones"?

@singout4him silicones...they are in lots of conditioners and other products..they usually make them slippery but they cant be washed out in just one wash unless you use sulfates..which is very drying to curly hair..they sulfates are found in shampoo and other products..thats why the Curly Girl Method doesnt include sulfates or silicones
