Music wasn't to bad but would have preferred the commentary. After all it was one of the greatest mania matches of all time, with possibly the two best hair raising theme songs ever!
The reason people remember a match like this is because Bret Hart helped make it that way. Hitting moves and taking bumps are easy....making your opponent look good is another story. Michaels and Angle at Mania was amazing because they made each other look good....there wasn't any helping the other man along because he's not capable of doing it himself.
First off, Stone Cold was a solid wrestler at best. Great wrestlers are those that take time to sell a match to the crowd, rather than a piece by piece script so they can hit their "signature" moves. Ric Flair and Bret Hart are great wrestlers because they stayed busy in the ring and really sold a match. They took the time to allow the other man to get over on them and make their opponent look good.
These two guys have tremendous amount of love and respect for each other. Both were great technically wrestlers, and Austin actually trained in the dungeon with Stu Hart. I remember watching this match, never would imagine the ever lasting changes this match made to both of their careers and to the WWE. It gave birth to Austin's character, changed the direction of Bret Hart's character forever, and changed the format of wrestling
