I'm a little confused about the fried chicken comments. They're cooking marinated Mahi Mahi. No chicken or frying involved. And I can't speak to whether they are the finest Dominican chefs, but I had a lot of fun at their home when I joined a cruise excursion to get some hands-on experience making the meal shown in this video.
They are surely not the finest Dominican Chefs, and of course no!!! fried chicken is not a traditional dish. Talk about Dominican mountain chicken(our edible frog) or crab callaloo, that is traditional
