I love the knot/weave that you have here. The big knot guy on Youtube is TIAT and I recall a comment where he claimed to have discovered to secret to knots in general. You have done the same with this one specific knot by yourself. Be proud and say discovered instead of invented so the whinners can find someone else to complain about. The first part up to 1:04 is called an underwriters knot which is used to prevent lamp cords from being pulled out of lamp sockets. It seems to be a really good start for the creative series of knots following that make up the "scorpion stitch". Well done! :D
