  • I don't think I'd like having a coyote that bold hanging around that close.

  • poor dog

  • Yeah real fucking funny , I guess you have no fucking clue how much trouble your dog was about to be in , there is one thing to do when a coyote comes in your yard, and that's to shoot it , if you don't have a gun shame on you!!!

  • The dog was like FUCKING PUSSY

  • Which way did he go, George, which way did he go?

  • man that dog is chewing his bone like its nobodies business lmao

  • Actually, it is very common for a coyote to do what that one just did to lure a dog towards a pack of coyotes so they can all take it down. It happens a lot. There's another video on youtube where a girl is on her bike and a dog keeps running to and from the coyotes. The coyotes were trying to get that dog far enough away to gang up on it.

  • He just wanted to play!

  • Haha i would have shot the fuck out of that coyote.

  • @scottie33ish Haha i would have shot the fuck out of your FACE if you did that.

  • the coyote was trying to steal your dog's food

  • it was trying to get your dog to chase it and get ambushed by a bunch of other coyotes

  • Did you remember to bring your dog to the vet for emergency treatment against rabies?

People, don't tolerate predators in your own backyard. They are dangerous in more ways than one, plus they feed on our pets.

If you don't want to hurt them, at least find a way to scare them off!

  • The coyote was just playing... likely just a juvenile male... kinda comical.

  • HAHA FUNNY...... EXCEPT, NOW THE DOG HAS RABIES AND IS GONNA DIE

  • LMAO i actually found this funny

  • Why did you just sit back and film this? Not worried that your dog could have been bitten? Seems very irresponsible to me. I didn't find it funny or cute, it bothered me that you didn't take better care of your dog.

  • @theladydaisysf I agree. That coyote could kill your dog. It was just toying with it. doesn't matter that your dog is bigger, it's a wild animal that has to kill to live, every day. very cunning predator. not to mention it likely has a partner or maybe even a small pack of coyotes nearby that could surround your dog when it chases the coyote off your property. they are dangerous. and if you or your neighbours have dogs or cats, please keep them inside. coyotes will eat them.

  • our dog could have gotten rabids

  • the coyote was probably trying to lure your dog into fallowing him and then, the rest of the packs could ambush him lol... but dont worry your dog is to focus on his bone its all good rofl

  • Could have popped him easy with a .22

  • Pay attention to presario's comment. This is how they lure dogs to the pack and then... not so funny.

  • put a pitbull in there LOL

  • I never shot anything or anybody that I didn't know what they are. I love the funny look on a trespassers face when that shotgun is cycled. It instantly changes their attitude. I use rock salt on them.

  • If they come to my yard they don't walk away. I can shoot a groundhog at 250 yards. A coyote is no problem.

  • @Agedperfection just make sure it's a coyote, and you aren't shooting someones PET!

I had a dog with similar features to a coyote, we went out to a friends farm, and one of the neighbors saw him running close (not on) to the border of his property and shot at him!

He was a mutt, our vet used to joke around that he was part "coydog"

Just saying, make sure you know what you're shooting at..

  • he wasn't permanently injured but i'm sure it hurt. them 'yotes gots sharp toofs.

  • That dog is a heartless, how he run from it??

  • so funny ahahahhahaha :D

  • The pack is waiting behind those trees. Wolves do the same thing, they know how to get a meal.

  • nitroexpress700, you are a son of bitch @#$%&*, I curse you !

  • Hahahahahaha....

  • As cute as this is, I then saw another vid title "Coyote attacks dog" and it was a single coyote that attacked a black lab and it nearly killed the dog...apparently not much happened to the Coyote. I'm sure this dog is a bit bigger but same breed, right? There have been several people that testify to a Coyote trying to lure a dog out into the woods where the pack is waiting to eat the dog. Again, this was cute, but I don't think the Coyote was being cute at all. They always have a purpose.

  • just after it bit my dog is when you would of herd the crack of my rifle as i spread that coyotes brains all over the back yard....1 less coyotes to attack pets...

  • @nitroexpress700 Historically it is the Coyote's back yard to begin with.. We just kinnd of up and moved in on their habitat. It's not really fair of us to look at them so spitefully since we ARE pretty much an invasive species on the land they have been living on for millions of years.

  • @Pwnzistor and we have been here just as long as they have so then it becomes survival of the fittest.....of look at that were top of the food chain theres a reason we control the earth ever think of the fact our brains are far more developed then those of these animals your trying to humanize...and the fact we can build and mantain all these machinest like airplanes and cars... i dont see a fucking coyotes driving around in a truck or flying a plane

  • Comment removed

  • @nitroexpress700

you are not on top of the food chain idiot, yhou next to a white shark are nothing but lunch. Birds can fly and humans can't and I don't see a fucking human flying around, do you? we don't need airplanes or cars to survive idiot. And your so call super human has created wars and hunger and poverty, abuse, crimes, etc and i don't see wolves creating that, have u? your logic is the same as the one with a 2 year old. Human are evil , animals are not.

  • @scorpion20112

the fact taht we have what we have should have been used to do better, to better the life of our own kind and the life of our fellow animals but instead we are using what we have to do evil to all animals on this planet and to other humans. Your attitude and way of thinking shows how stupid humans are. And by the way, you have invented any car or airplane so stop taking credit for something you have not participated in.

  • @scorpion20112 are you fucking 12 i know we dont need cars or planes or trucks to survive i get along just fine with out any of that your a typical treehugging emo piece of shit emo go hang your self and help the animals out a bit but supplying us all with some more air to breathe. are you fucking retarded im a fucking biologist for fucks sake its my job to know this shit i just pisses me of when some disney mother fucking dip shit like you claims to know shit

  • Situational awareness, Moose lacks it!

  • @G56AG agree

  • Well done! and Thank You

  • thank u for this video bro apprently people are stupid this days saying ohhh welll there wild animals they could kill about anyting even dohs stupiddddd fuckers a gay coyote it self can step up to a plate and fight..one on one these wild coyotes are only good with there pack otherewise is a fucking wose i dont see that big ass dog/looking lion running away right nooooo...thank u

  • The coyote was a republican, by its action in trying to get the bone. Way to fend him off, Moose!

  • i bet that dog that was eating that bone when the coyote or you say it is one bit is but i bet after words he was like were did i put that bone screw that coyote!

  • Just for shits and giggles, gonna nip your arse.

  • That isn't a real coyote. A real coyote would have constructed a device using roller skates, a rocket and Acme springs to steal the bone.

  • Why risk the chance of your dog being hurt?

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL so funny these two are just adorable !

  • DOG: come over here bitch

    COYOTE: HELLL NOOO!!

  • I doubt this was the true attack. Somebody might have already posted this, but oh well. Coyotes work in packs. They will send in a pup or a female to get the dogs attention in a playful matter and lure the dog to the pack(usually around 4 coyotes) and that is when the real attack takes place. Not playful or pretty. I would invest in a 12 ga with some buckshot or something to at least scare the coyote.

  • Ha Ha Ha!!! Just like RALPH the WOLF and SAM the SHEEPDOG!!!!!

  • hahaha funy music playing in the background , nice vid , funny dog! lmao

  • tag you're it LMFAO

    #k9dojo

  • Too bad the coyote didn't get the bone!!

  • That was hilarious!!! Around here that is how the coyote gets the dog to chase him back to where four of five coyote buddies are waiting to kill the dog.

  • That is a Female Coyote and I bet she was in season. We had a Female come into our yard and play with my Rotti here in East Tennessee.

  • your dog is so dumb...

  • Well at least you know now he is mot a good gaurd dog. Lol

  • i have a choclate lab named kona

  • I have a chocolate lab named Moose !! :0

  • The coyote is baiting the dog :S Your lucky the lab didnt start chasing him into an ambush

  • Did you add the "boing" noise, or did the coyote's legs really make that sound??

  • Awesome!

  • Awesome, talk about being in the right place at the right time! Thank you so much for sharing...that was one totally engrossed poopy puppy, just like our chocolate lab Coco. Bet the coyote was kinda young, seemed almost playful at times ??? Noses definitely over eyesight ;)

  • This reminds me of Tom and Jerry haha, that coyote was messing with your lab

  • funny

  • gee your dog is stupid

  • LOL the coyote just HAD to tease the poor dog lol

  • lol the coyote probably thought he was eating a dead animal

  • Ouch. Moose didn't expect a sneak attack from behind.

  • Your lab is brute...

  • I just DIED.

Moose didn't even LOOK in the direction of the coyote when he thought he heard something. That is CLASSIC!

    That was just amazing.

  • Man, that was funny. These kind of antics must inspire cartoons.

  • lol i died laughing the dog was like WTF ?

  • i know this is really mean of wat the coyote did but u got to admit it was funny

  • what a nice and alert dog you have lol

  • Sort of.

If there is more than 1 coyote, they lure a dog into a chase and then tire it out by taking turns letting the dog chase them.

After the dog is tired they all gang up and kill it.

  • That coyote sure is a smart ass.

  • it is so con and distracted the dog that does not realize what is going on around him, luckily it was not for monitoring sheep, otherwise they would all be dead.

  • Loved it. :)

  • Great now he probably has rabbies.

  • @smartguy104

That's what rabies vaccination is there to prevent...

  • Moose:Yummy bone,yummy bone,yummy bone!

    Coyote:TAG YOUR IT!!!

    Moose:WTF WAS THAT FOR?

  • dude that dog is a bear!

  • I agree, mushmush...that's what they do in Alberta...they lure them out and then the pack attacks...the coyote that actually does the luring isn't the Alpha, believe it or not...

Amazing video...funny only because you were there to watch over your lab...!

ALSO: this lab MAY be only about 4-5 lbs overweight...looks like he's an English-bred lab like mine..they tend to be stocky, all shoulder and head (love them)

If anyone were to call my dog fat, I would just think: "Ignoramis!!!" HA HA

Amazing video...funny only because you were there to watch over your lab...!

  • hahah this reminds me of Ralph E. Wolf and Sam Sheepdog from the looney tunes

  • Coyote is like Can i haz sum?

  • that lab is so overweight, probably dead by now

  • Comment removed

  • Great vid & very clear. That coyote was tryingj to lure your dog...you never know if the pack is around. Coyotes lured my little dog by the pond & I am still looking for her head...countless cats have gone missing around here, my foal was attacked by 3, all our ducks but 3 & 23 of our sheep have been killed so far this summer......lead pills is what they get around here! The only way to farm around here is to keep all the animals inside...so much for humane farming!

  • thats one fat lab :)

  • lol that coyote was funny he was like tag ur it *runs away* ahahahaha

  • He was probably just curious :)

  • Animals are so cute! I love how wild animals act around domesticated things. :P Cute and curious.

  • Cool vid. I have a 125 pound shepherd mix that ran out in the desert one night (he didn't come home until the next morning) and he either spent that night chasing coyotes or running with them...I'll never know for sure. All I do know is that the next morning, the people who lived in that desert area told me the coyotes were really agitated (howling a lot) that night- they didn't know it was my dog out there stirring things up! XD

  • ha ha ha tht was soooo funny my little pug would chase the coyote :)

  • The coyotes trying to make the dog follow it back to its pack of coyotes so they can rip the dog to shreds, They look cute but they are really big fuckers. My grandpas German shepherd and blue healer killed so many of those things attempting this same bullshit lol.

  • Love this video lol. Made my day :))))

  • Im diggin that music in the background. :)

  • 1:30: "Tag! you're it!!"

  • That was funny! One single coyote does NOT pose a threat to a dog of that size. What an awesome thing you go to witness , let alone catch on film! Thanks for sharing.

  • @theoharatos - Rabies > Dog

  • dog would of smashed coyote but he was to slow lol. no threat.

  • The coyote doesn't look threatening, but this is a common coyote tactic that I've seen many a time here in the western states. A single coyote will taunt a dog, trying to get it to chase it, as this one in the vid is exactly doing. If it successfully gets the dog to chase it, it leads the dog into an ambush where several coyotes are waiting to rush it and proceed to kill the dog. I think they do this to get rid of the hunting obstacle, competition and threat that the dog poses to the coyotes.

  • ChicagoIrishman1: man you are one dumb cracker, bet you love your Chicago niggers lol. let me guess, your favorite basketball player is "Spudd" webb. you have a collection of your favorite toy(mr.potato head, lol) your drunk Irish father bought you in between beatings of your mother and your favorite football team is Notre Dame(the FLAMING Irish, lol)aaaaa

    ahahahaha

  • It wasnt what i expected but it was funny and entertaining. Why cant everyone just enjoy a video without fighting about it?

  • ChicagoIrishman1 : wow because my dog kills cats that come onto OUR property i'm automatically a hick? nice call you dumb Mick, lay off the potatos and beer they're killing your brain cells lol. now go kiss your poster of Mickey Rourke and pour a bowl of Lucky Charms, lmao !!!

  • Kinda stupid to risk your overweight dog to rabies..., and one day, that coyote and his spouse will lure that dog in for the kill. Hope you get that on tape too!

I agree it's comical, but you are rolling the dice on your dogs behalf.

What could you have done to prevent a deep bite wound from behind your window.., absolutely nothing!

  • Very cool footage...I hunt those critters all winter long! They are very smart and they are not easy to call in to shooting range!

  • A) the coyote could have had rabies or been a carrier, B) could have killed the dog, and C) Despite this, it's still a good video.

@use2slam2 I'd be careful sharing that information since it's illegal to kill any fox in Florida. You'd be held resposible for what the dog did.

  • that is so funny ! we live in coyote territory, we have a Border Collie and horses, the coyotes go around our barn at night-it makes our dog so mad, but we don't let her out-your dog seems to know what he's doing around coyote's, as does ours.

She is relaxed around one (as your dog is too) but knows more thyan 2 is a threat.

Thanks for sharing your video, I shared it with my friends

  • i live in central Florida, our property backs up to a national forest my 110lb American Bulldog has killed 3 coyotes and 2 foxes(he had help as my 68lb bull terrier catches them first and he catches up and just crushes their throats. they do a great job of keeping our property free of varmits,my grandkids are out playing supervised of coarse but they take out raccoons, possum, etc. oh and stray cats i stopped counting at 10(sorry but it's not my fault issisponsable cat owners let their cats roam

  • @use2slam2

Thanks for showing up florida as the hickle billy retard state!

I agree cats shouldn't be out roaming, but that's not your right to set your animals out to kill other animals. Your property must be rampant with mice.., nice job tooll!

  • people chilll. he said they have grown up around coyotes and clearly the coyote doesnt look threating in his behaviors.

  • Hey Liz that was funny to watch, thanks for posting. The coyote wasnt rabid because of his behavior. If your lab grew up around them he has a tolerance and isnt in danger. All you haters need to stop the attacks, this happens in alot of places all the time, fun to watch

  • Hey Liz that was funny to watch, thanks for posting. The coyote wasnt rabid because of his behavior. If your lab grew up around them he has a tolerance and isnt in danger. All you haters need to stop the attacks, this happens in alot of places all the time, fun to watch

  • dog is too fat - you're killing him !

  • You people all pissing on the uploader for "just letting this happen" obviously don't know shit about coyotes, or probably any other wildlife, for that matter. No coyote, on his own, except perhaps one with a serious mental illness, would ever attack a dog that outweighs him. Those are terrible odds for the coyote, and even if he somehow managed to win the fight, he'd probably be too injured to hunt again and would likely starve to death.

  • you're a retard because:

    1. you let a wild coyote approach your dog. Most coyotes while slight, would whip a domestic dog's ass because the dog doesn't kill every single day to eat...while the coyote does

    2. your dog is INCREDIBLY overweight. If you don't get him killed by letting wild animals have a go at him, you'll kill him with some kind of disease due to his obesity.

  • yay moose wasn't hurt :)

  • lol... sneaky coyote... but good tactics trying all angles...lol

  • Not funny at all. I was pretty amazed that you let this happen. The coyote wasn't going to take down that big dog, but he could have done damage with a well-placed bite... and you're willing to risk that to get a video up on YouTube. He "wasn't aggressive"? Yes, but he's a wild animal and could turn aggressive. How were you going to stop it? How far, and how hard, can you throw that stupid iPhone?

  • It is a tatic that coyote use to trap dogs. First, usually a female, will lure a dog to chase or follow them to a seperate area. Then the female will call in 5-10 other coyotes, then attack and kill the dog by outnumbering it. If you have ever lived around them, you would have heard it before. Now that single coyote will kill small dogs or cats on their own...... here on youtube look up "Coyote trying to eat my dog" this is how they kill dogs. Your Chocolate was smart not to fall for it.

  • lmao this is hilarious!!!!!

  • my dog wouldve jammed his paw up its ass

  • haha awsome video:) my dog would have chased it haha:)

  • I love the variety of comments :)

  • Sad that the dog has no natural instincts and just loafs around... very sad.

  • Looks like the coyote was making fun of the dog.

  • ur dog would rape that coyote haha ur dog is a tank this coyote is just a feather

  • hey douchebag..ur dog can get infected with coyote bite...........

  • This was great.. Thanks for doing this ;-)

  • Hi leechmasterb....exactly. If the coyote had been aggressive, I would never have just watched. But his tactics, as you say, were fascinating. I guess that's why they call them 'wily'. And had the coyote been rabid....his behavior would have been totally different. Not to mention that rabies cases in our state are nearly non-existent. Either way....this was a once-in-a-lifetime scenario and I'm glad I caught it on camera!! Thanks for your comment.

  • The coyote tactics are pretty cool, it tries to distract the dog from the bone and hopes to grab it while the dog is distracted to the other side of the tree. Thats why it scouted the two passages towards the dog before the attack. Even though the coyote is weaker it is using a pretty neat strategy. He definatelly had enough respect of the dog for not trying to kill him. So it knew the dog was stronger and thats why it chose the sneaky tactic.

  • lmao funny when the dog looks up as if huh did I hear something

  • We've lived here for a long time, the dog has grown up around coyotes, he outweighs them 3 to 1. I would not have let anything happen to him -- the coyote was clearly afraid and we haven't seen him since. It really was pretty comical.

  • @lizdugger And how were you going to stop it, if the coyote had gotten a few good bites in? I can't believe that you let a wild animal sneak up on a family pet, and now call it "pretty comical."

  • @lizdugger Moose outweighs ME 3:1... put that poor boy on a diet and get him some excercise! :)

  • You should have not just watched this happen. Even if your dog could take it down. Next time your poor cute dog will be sleeping, and the coyote will attack it from his neck. I'm sure u take care of him, but just remember to take precautions cause this coyote will bring all his friends to attack him. You should want the coyote to feel scared to never come back.

  • @TomjHanksFan only a tom hanks fan could turn this into a national emergency. pretty obvious the coyote was playful, no?

  • @postaltraining Coyote looks playful, but just might want to lure ol' chocolate out of the backyard and into a waiting pack of coyote's. It's a known tactic, he wanted some doggy soup.

  • @brmadman4455 yeah, i don't know. i have a lone dog that protects our 14 acres and the coyotes want nothing to do with him. he's 68 pound malinois. there's so much small vermin for them to pick on, i've not heard of coyotes being ambitious enough to take a big blob choc lab in the greenest moments of summer. maybe in the winter, but i'm really doubting summer like this video is obviously shot in

  • @postaltraining You could be right, or I could be right, who knows. Either way, great vid.

  • Just curious on how this is funny? You knew that a wild animal was basically staking your dog and you filmed it? How did you know whether or not the Coyote was rabid? I think your dog was lucky to have not been seriously hurt.

  • @wolf14771 - a rabid animal would behave different... that said this was boring.

  • LOL! Great Guard Dog! hehehe

  • lol funny but i was going say before i read ur comment that u need a propa dog that would chase the hunted down the coyote and ripped it,a pitbull would be good for the job or an english bull terrier, what is the second dog u have that would have done the job?especially if you live wer ther is a high number of coyotes around

  • funny!

  • Yeah, this is not the dog you want guarding your house! We have a second dog for that :-) Thanks for watching .... feel free to share it with others who might want a laugh.

  • Good watchdog. LOL
