One is that it isn't mass producible. When I was teaching myself Chinese. I spent hours every week making flash cards that were obviously less complicated. I can't imagine the time it would take to make them on a mass scale.
I like this idea, particularly how it combines hearing and seeing the word/term- visual and auditory learning. What concerns me, though, is the amount of time needed to make the cards if I have, say, 50 or more definitions to master. If a quick way of preparing these cards exists, this already good idea would be even better.
