  • Nigga got the bone all the way out the chicken lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • man, whoever invented these ?! he off the hook !

  • @polywacket lol too right. People; myself included have a misconception that "meat" is proper meat in a cheap fast food/tv dinner. But if it tastes right you put it out your mind. I'm having hotdogs later even though I know it's reconstituted pig anus and snout meat :-/

  • Fuckin' D, killing the hope in them young niggas.

  • @wtfuserwtfnamewtf best comment on The Wire ever.

  • @wtfuserwtfnamewtf naaw D telling them right people that work for somebody will never make more then the owner hes right

  • it's like if pulp fiction were intelligent

  • i have learnt the most about business from this program

  • still had the idea tho

  • @tommybrown187 D is right ideas dont get you no where unless you in business for your self

  • Only the Wire could make a conversation about chicken mcnuggets this deep

  • I GOT REALLY MAD WHEN DEANGELO DIED HE AND AVON BARKDALE WERE MY FAVORITE CHARACKTERS FUCK STRINGER THAT JUDAS BITCH

  • Hey mister nugget, u the bomb

    xD

  • You don't want to see it though before they fry that s--t up. Looks just like strawberry ice cream. They're just scraping everything off close to the bone. Economical yes, but it hardly looks like something you want to eat. But that kind of goes for meat in general.

Of course, they did well by Bolt. He eats that stuff for breakfast before a race.

  • I liked Wallace :)

  • It should be pointed out that Nike later gave her a diamond ring and some stock in the company. I imagine anyone who invented the logo of a multi billion dollar company would later be rewarded for their efforts.

The person who invented the chicken nugget wasn't affiliated with McDonalds and didn't patent his invention, so McDonalds were free to do what they wanted.

  • @RevZman Yeah, but in the Men's bathroom at McDonald's Hamberger University, there's grafitti that says "Mr. Nugget, U Da Bomb".

  • You know the person who invented the Nike swoosh was paid $35, right? That's a billion dollar company that made billions off that logo and the person who came up with it only got $35 and went back to work.

That's what D'Angelo is saying, whoever invented Chicken McNuggets isn't rich at all, there still working in the basement.

  • "I'm gonna sign my clownie-ass name on this fat-ass check for you." Priceless.

  • "It aint about right, it's about money"

  • we selling chicken faster than you can tear the bone out....lol

  • Mc Nuggets are good though, I was eating them today and sheeeeeeeeeet those things were beautiful.

  • @irepnorthLDN wendys spicy nuggets

  • D'Angelo had brains. He could've made something of himself instead of just slinging dope.

  • @CertifiedGooner729

Bubbles had brains, omar had brains shiiit even those little hoppers in season 4&5 had brains, what they didn't got was parents.

  • @colloredbrothers Yeah. You're absolutely right.

  • "Shiieeeeeeeeeeeet he's richer than a motherfucker"

  • wow such deep socio-political themes is why i love The Wire

  • "We used to make shit, build shit in this country...now all we do is dip our hands in the next guy's pocket"

  • Capitalism 101.

  • this scene made me hungry

  • What D'Angelo didnt realize is he is Mr. Nugget matter fact all of those boys on the park benches... and his uncle(Avon) is the Ronald McDonald with the clowny ass name

  • @85king21

    exactly!

  • @85king21 I think that was the message behind this scene, I think D'Angelo was thinking exactly that as he talked about it.

  • i'm nearly 31 now but this show takes me back to summer of 2002. mad hustling but i always watched this show on sunday nights. gave great ideas as such as using out of date communication like beepers/pagers, and also using phone booths to communicate. i'm sure alot of mofos used that into their daily grinds u feel me? lol!!!

  • His face at 1:08 makes me laugh

  • actually the guy who got the idea probably sold his patent for cash moneey

  • @billma12345 how much you think that was? nothing, compared to what those mcdonalds dudes earnd

  • D'angelo is both right and wrong if the guy who invented the McNugget got a decent contract with McD then he is a wealthy man. If not; then he is assout... George Forman created those Grills and he is filthy rich. Billy Blanks created Tae-Bo...he's rich. If the inventor is smart; then both he and the corporation will get paid. The keyword is contract.

  • @00ghostcobra Foreman did not invent those grills he endorsed them...but he got paid nonetheless, and Billy Blanks did not create tae-bo...and I'm sure the person who actually had the idea for the nugget did not get paid. Like how all of these mixed soda and juice combinations...originated somewhere and the originator is probably not getting paid

  • @sliccmoufschalaa You are right about Foreman.. But Blanks did invent Tae Bo. He started off teaching it to the students in his Karate school.

  • @00ghostcobra OK I'll give you Blanks if you look at Tae Bo as a name for western aerobics cardio kickboxing but it is an aerobic workout derived from tae kwon do and boxing i don't want to give him credit for the creation of a discipline that is a hybrid of another...but without being too technical I can give you that one...I love D's point in the vid and Wallace's answer D is telling him how the world really

  • @sliccmoufschalaa Exactly. Did you know that the company that made those grills originally went to Hulk Hogan? He turned it down like a dumbass and they went to George Foreman. Imagine, they woudl have been Hulk Hogan grills lol.

  • @Antrizzle2009 LOL!!! I like Hulk Hogan but I don't think he would have done those grills the justice Foreman did...im glad he turned em down. LOL Hogan grills just doesnt even sound right!!

  • one day i hope i get the chance to use the phrase "clowny ass name" in a conversation

  • D angleo was smart kinda makes me think stringa bell is a punk for fucking his babies mother while he was in prison then having him done in behind avons back dam that's some snake shit

  • D'Angelo said some of the deepest shit on the show

  • epic series with epic dialogues

  • Great show and a valid point, however the inventor of the chicken nugget was a graduate of Cornell university then became a professor there. He also developed several other innovations so i doubt he was living in a basement..

  • @AnnexGroup lol good to know..

  • @AnnexGroup How do you know the professor didn't just steal the mcnugget recipe from the nigga in the basement? *D'angelo voice* Believe...

  • this scene shows how bad the small workers(corner boys) in th drug game are treated

  • 2 people have never worked a job

  • hey mr nugget, you da bomb

  • This scene is one of the 12 billion reasons why The Wire is the greatest televison show, and it isn't close.

  • where could i some some muthafuckin chicken mcnuggets from? where did these niggaz get this shit?

  • D has an interesting point.

  • You know that feeling you get after a really good sermon in church? The ones that make you wanna shout "PREACH, PREACHA!" I got that feeling here.

  • 100th like!

  • One of my favorite scenes from anything ever.

  • The chicken nugget is a meat product that was invented in the 1950s by Robert C. Baker, a food science professor at Cornell University. Google FTW!

  • @cssadiction It's not about chicken nuggets. It's about innovation and reward.

  • 'Still had the idea though' How great was Wallace?

  • @hdtwoodsman Love it

  • And D understands this just from working on the corner...so true...

  • D has a better understanding of how business works than a vast majority of people in the 'real world'

  • Who invented chicken Nuggets? Was it someone at MDs?

  • D'Angelo was my favorite character in The Wire. He had heart.

  • @Brenda2OOO, he was mine too. I hated when he & Wallace got killed off.

  • d'angelo aint heard of property rights and patents

  • @thegov08 When u work for a company u sign a disclaimer to the intellectual property of anything u invent. Same goes for research scientists, etc. U dont get shit the bossman does. Its called capitalism!

  • I could do with one more season, just one more, for closure. :(

  • ''It ain't about right. It's about money.''

    So true.

  • I don't know. I reckon the nigga that invented McNuggets is head of product development by now (unless he let his boss take credit for the idea). He's probably not making as much as the CEO though.

  • lol nigga wallace musta been high...

later for the bone let's nugget this shit up and get this money"

  • The classic line: "Still had the idea though."

  • LMAO @ "u think Ronald McDonald gone go down that basement & say 'Ay Mr. Nugget, u tha bomb'!"

  • @fsumpter

I still haven't gotten around to watch The Wire. I'm told to believe the hype

What say you? I'm interested to see it

  • This scene is what first got me hooked on the wire. AMAZING!!

  • i always say season's 1 and 2 were the best seasonsbecause of how real and authentic the story and characters were. but bunny colvin made 3 and 4 what they were, along with other plots. season 5 was much appreciated too.

  • great scene, derserves to be called great purely for the use of "Clowny ass name" :)

  • I'm gonna write my clowny ass name

  • waaaaaaat

  • scenes awesome. im luvin it.

  • Lol, "i'm luvin it"

  • they talk sooo cool

EY mister nugget, you tha bomb

  • The dude with the braids played a character on the famous soap opera All My Children for several years a while back. So it's really odd to see him in this context. Shows what a good actor he is.

  • RIP DEANGLO

  • lol just eating then the guy starts talking... both stop like omg...

  • umm wtf?

wat was that boi's name with tha braids??

  • wallace man where u been at

    please tell me niggas Holla

  • IN the words of immortal Clay Davis I say SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIT!!! Season 1, 3, and 4 were the good with Season 4 being the best one.

  • Business 101 mofuckas!

  • And what sort of art does the genius "bootymanager" consider "profound"?

  • I agree yungnoe. Who should get paid, the guy that creates potential value (the inventor) or the guy that actually provides the value in the real world (the business guy)?

  • Both because the both served their function, 1 couldn't potentially get paid off that particular idea w/out the other

  • Businessmen are a dime a dozen. The world isn't fair, don't rationalize it that it is. The businessman gets paid the most because he exploits others, not because he deserves it.

  • @pushmedia1

Without the inventor, capital doesn't have anything to make money off of. The inventor can get the product out himself with our without capital, which the capitalist only acquired through force or dynastic inheritance.

The worker creates the value. The capitalist is a parasite off that value because he monopolizes the means to monetize it.

  • @vapidkunst

    Someone has been reading Marx.

  • He's right the inventor almost always gets play

cuz they dnt have the buusiness mentality!

  • Captialism, coporate exploitation & the chasm between the brainswashed "middle class"(as exemplified by the "still had the idea though" line )& the wealthy, summed up in 1:34

    Genius, pure genius.

  • "clowny ass name" ahahahahaha

  • lmfaooooo

  • Yall niggaz crazy, he sayin later for the bone. ionno where yall here an "eave" at.

poot look like tha damn commercial mmmhmmm

  • they need to add "I'm Lovin' It" at the end of the clip.

  • Genius. Pure, unadulterated genius.

  • The two halves of America, understanding each other perfectly.

  • SHIT IS RITE!!!

  • mr nugget, you da bomb lol

  • I had a lot respect 4 d'Angelo. He always looked out the box and had a different out look about everything ....And it b makin since.I wish he woudda stayed longer in the series at least thru season 4.

  • Ay Mr. Nugget, you da bomb!

  • he said ´leave the bone ´´ the dialogue is what made this show stand out.

  • No.. he said "later for the bone.. let's nugget that meat up and make some real money"

  • leave

  • you must not hear well.. he clearly said multiple words.. all that wasn't "leave".. besides "leave" doesn't really make any sense in the context of what he was saying

  • u must not have HD and surround sound. bitch

  • stupid fool talking about syntax in slanguage

  • you invent somthing you need to market it see who is willing to sell it for you its up to you to sell it for a good price or try to sell it yourself but you need money to open a bisness meaning hes tierd of working for avon he doing all the hustling avon counting the money
