Well in saudi arabia they usually have private family areas so it might have special curtains wear the table is however when your living in the west you can just find the table closest to the corner and lift it up and if a man comes close then you can put it down again. There are Nikabs which are easier for us to eat in though but they might not be as long as you may like.

I am not Muslim. I do own n read the Quran. I am an open minded, studier of life n people n I am very curious person! I have bought and wear Hijjabs n Niqabs . I wear them respectfully n. not 2 dress of mockery. but as a fashion I feel is pretty and mysterious.I do not wish 2 B disrespectful at all! Well in saudi arabia they usually have private family areas so it might have special curtains wear the table is however when your living in the west you can just find the table closest to the corner and lift it up and if a man comes close then you can put it down again. There are Nikabs which are easier for us to eat in though but they might not be as long as you may like.

actually, i liked the pink better at :10. i respect your desire to be modest, but there is nothing immodest about the human face, mouth, or nose. there is nothing sinful about color, or patterns in cloth. of course you may dress however you like, but even by Muslim standards of modesty, there is nothing wrong with colors, and in general nothing immodest about the human face. God has made you beautiful, after His own image. true modesty comes from the heart, not only from lots of clothes.

Historically a nation cannot survive the antagonism of two or more competing cultures or languages. This is true especially when one of those competing cultures is something as vile as Islam. You see healthy people consider national identity apart of their own identity and so they as sane human beings have some sense of obligation to defend their nation when it is under threat.

lol. very eloquently put. i certainly understand your explanation and even agree w/ it on many points. i believe woman should be allowed to wear what they choose and i highly respect the purported spiritual purpose of the attire, but my main objections usually do not come from hijab/niqab wearers themselves but how a society w/ majority hijab treat women who dont wear the hijab. in egypt you defintely feel that people treat/think lower of you w/o one. this isn't right, all women deserve respect.

just a question to the uploader or any user... what do you think of women who wear the niqab, a garb symbolizing "modesty" and "protection," but still adorn themselves with excessive gold, jewels and rings (over the gloves!)... Is this still not attracting immodest attention to themselves? I was in Egypt recently and I saw this as very contradictory... to the message of given by many women of why they wear the niqab. Also why adorn yourself w/ makeup if the aim is to be modest & humble? Thanks!

Islam is not only what is in the Quran. It goes with the hadith, which are the sayings and actions of the prophet. ( the sunnah) It is part of Islam and all scholars believe it is highly recommended, a minority believe it is fard.
