Oh well I still see monkeys, and with all the population in the world, to base all your believes in one hideous skeleton, who maybe belong to a person with some kind of disfiguration or most probably was altered by the money hungry scientists who wants to keep their grants coming.
It's tragic we will probably never learn Bonobo lessons of how to live in civilised peace because we see violence as far more accept than sex... on TV, in the classroom & in public discussion generally.
Monsterous Chimp violence is therefore perfectly acceptable, Bonobo sex and therefore their civility really has to be kept hidden.
I think it's more that most of us think sex/intimacy should be private than it is actually worse than violence. Still it is pretty tragic.
