I never understood what happened. Royal Caribbean's has such loud and crazy alarms on The Freedom Class and Voyager Class, and now, on the two largest cruise ships in the world, they went back to the PA tones. No whistles, no bells, no buzzers, no awesome exterior air horns, just PA tones and the horn.
It's still good, but nothing like they used to be.
From seeing other Muster drill videos I never saw strobe lights on the muster alarms. I wonder how requirements for them are? I do hope newer ships are required strobes on the muster alarms.
so did you have a regular balcony cabin because i'm lookin at the deck plans and it looks like that isn't the right cabin. what was ur cabin number???

They have to conduct 1 before the ship leaves port before each cruise for the passengers and then another one half way through for the crew.

@moose9784 It's just a mandatory drill, to show you what to do in case of a real emergency.. But go on Oasis it is the greatest experience. Ever.
