The declaration of German government to religion was that Aktion T4 was OK because the commandment "thou shalt not kill" was a Jewish innovation, not a divine commandment. @Tony63909 Kramer remained even when the British arrived to liberate the camp. He remained indifferent and callous and took them on a tour of the camp to inspect the 'scenes'.--Wikipedia. The way I understood it, Wikipedia makes it seem as if he was simply dedicated to the bureaucracy and he was going to do what he was ordered until someone physically stopped him.

The vast majority of deaths at all the camps resulted from malnourishment and disease after the German supply warehouses were all destroyed by bombs.
