  • I have it too L 5. Its nice to see that somebody else have it too and have the same broblems what i have :)

  • you are fat.

  • I really don't think it is a big deal it is not your falt but I feel bad for you.

  • i love you.

  • Where do you live? I live in the Eugene area in Oregon. My daughter has SB, she is 2. She is walking, but not quite independent yet. I am very encouraged by your video. Thank you so much for sharing. Very inspiring. :) Lord be with you.

  • i understand how people could be so mean !!!!!!!!!i have a niece that has spina bifida and she 10 yrs its hard for her sometimes !!!!

  • You're awesome, keep your attitude high and your chin up....you're beautiful too.....

  • I was in hospital here in England for over 6 years as a kid (from 1959 to 1965). Are American kids with Spina Bifida ever in for that length of time?

  • I got the same thing but it it a learning disability i don't think of my self as a disabled i think of my self as a ambassador for the disabled my teacher tout me that

  • i have spina bifida to im L3 AND L4 i love ur vlog i can completly relate to you i was teased mainly through highschool but i had friends who had my back i mean i was teased on and off all through school and called names but it mainly started in highschool i even got hit in my shunt cuz someone thought i was making fun of them yet she was the one making fun of me for god knows what but it was probley cuz of my chair or whatever else reason i also have people who dont ask about my chair

  • @msmcpamiwack17 People can be mean. But at least it gets better as you get older.

  • Were you also born with dislocated hips? (I was). And do you also have Polio? I do.

  • @Fibbing01 No my hips are not dislocated. And I do/did not have polio.

  • Thanks Ashley!

  • Yeah, i had a friend in hs who called me Waddles. He was the only person allowed to call me that. Yes people stare at me WAY less when I am in my chair versus me walking. I always just stare back until they look away. LOL.

  • I get called duck walker :) Alot of my able bodied friends refer to people with Spina Bifida as duck walkers. HeHe

We have about the same situations. Except I wasn't picked on too bad in school,I either got ignored, stared at or people were my friends. My friends tease me more than anything! HaHa all in good clean fun though.

I find that people stare at me less when I am in my chair compared to when I walk.
