I love him much, but we can do nothing about it. John is not any better or worse, he is just different, same with Josh. @added 23: Um...you obviously hadn't heard of The Commodores, Slave, The Bar Kays, Ohio Players, ConFunkShun, Cameo, Kool and the Gang, etc. I have a cousin who grew up in Brooklyn who stayed with us in St. Louis during the summer of 82 who was playing tapes with live recordings of 24/7 Spyz. Living Colour were already building up a good head of steam in 83. For anyone to call this watered down crap funk doesn't know shit about funk and needs to just stop talking.
