What's up Beatles fans? I would be honored if you would check out my version of this song. When I first heard this song I was deeply inspired... I must warn that it is rap music, but not like you hear on TV nowadays. It has a positive message like the rest of my music. Give it a chance and you won't regret it (I think). Jam it or slam it in my comments, I'll take whatever feedback I can get positive or negative. Peace and respect...
Ignore the idiot Stu i wish i was there, you seen McCartney at the last gig at Shea Stadium not a lot of people will be able to say that in years to come.
StuBot thank you for the video... forget everyone that is hating because they weren't there... anyone who was there couldn't help themselves but singing at the top of their lungs... absolutely amazing experience, once in a lifetime.
Right on, thats the way it was, you couldn't help but scream out loud. You're welcome for the video- there are many better vids from the evening, and the one that Billy will release will trump us all who posted, but the idea here is to express to others what we saw and experienced that night- thank YOU for appreciating the effort by all.
Holy Crap! I wanted to go to this so badly but it sold out so fast it was crazy. Paul going to back to his roots if you will, it must have felt weird for him going back to Shea without the other 3 lads.
Not as annoying as an unsolicited comment from some random dude.
Thats ME with the big mouth. Maybe if YOU had a ticket and saw Paul Mc Cartney answer your dreams by coming out to perform, "let it Be", you'd be screaming at the top of your lungs as well.
You hear all that cheering? What do you think each individual voice sounded like?
I was close to leaving my original comment which was- "fuck you who asked you", but decided to flesh it out more before I deleted it.
Oh my god. It must have been a shock when Paul McCartney came on stage out of the blue. He`s the biggest living superstar on this planet. I heard that he almost didn`t make it. His planed was delayed, and he had to be escorted by the police. It`s strange that he`s never performed on Shea stadium since the Beatles. He`s done so many tours, and he always plays the garden when he`s in New York.
@StuBotNYC You tell um stubotnyc, I would have SHAT my pants if I were at this concert and Paul walked out. What a wonderful time you must have had!! Did you see the vid. of Paul coming out and suprising Ringo for his 70th birthday this yr? if not, look it up, its freaking AWESOME!!
This is why I've always liked Billy Joel. What better way, to say goodbye to Shea Stadium, then to invite Paul McCartney to perform a Beatle's song. This is a classic moment in rock history, which will always be remembered.
Paul was the first artist to play Shea Stadium, when he and the Beatles played there in 1965. therefore i think it was cool that Billy invited him on stage to do the very last song! A really nice gesture from Billy:)
Paul is very soon at Yankee Stadium... I hope with new Beatles songs never played live.
