You'll also be pleased to know that, during filming, the lift jammed one time and the horse drowned because they couldn't get it back up. Of course, the boy actor was so distraught he refused to work for 2 weeks afterwards.

Then the boy tried again. He got his leg caught under the lift and broke it.

Then they tried a third time. The horse burned down, fell over then sank into the swamp.

But the 4th horse came back up!
