First things first, how do you not like the name of the iPad? I don't think people aren't going to buy it because they don't like the name. Also, $29 a month for 3G service is pretty expensive. All you can do is surf the web and that's it for $29 a month, it's just a waste of money. I had the iPad but I returned it because I regretted paying over $700 for the iPad and the case.

GOD!!!! Look at my convertible touchscreen netbook Gigabyte T1028G!

I bought it 1 year (!!!!) ago, for about 500 dollars and it offers all that things the iShit does not. USB, camera, 160GB harddrive, 3G (optional), flash ;).. Beside, of course it's a tablet with Touchscreen!

You know you could skype and send pictures of yourself on the go? You could do so much more if it had a camera/ web cam. I know that apple will make lots of peripherals for it, probably to even add a cam on it.

the size is nice but it's a little too ridic. Not me. I'll stick with my little iPod touch. It's a little to conspicuous to carry around with you. I think if ur traveling on air plane or in a car constantly, or your in business, and ur traveling, and constantly sending emails. This is great for them. i think a macbook air, would be better. It's got more memory and it's got the same stuff, and word processor, multitasking, etc. If ur gonna spend that much money, $800 it'd b better 2 buy a laptop.

If you wanted a modified version of snow leopard then this isn't the device for you. This device is for the masses. It's made to be simple so people can use it with ease without learning a new OS. This device effectively kills the kindle and will be more feature rich. It will also cut into the netbook market because of the price. As far as social media integration someone will develop an app for that. The biggest thing at this point is not having a camera.
