Scientology is as much a religion as Christianity is.
Both are carefully designed to control people.
Only Christianity has become part of our culture, Scientology isn't.
Christianity in it's early stage was much like Buddhism and ancient Egyptian mythology. In year 305 it has been radically changed/redesigned or misused if you want for political purposes by Roman leader Constantinus.
Wether made for political purpose or money matters not, it's equally bad.
We simply don't see it.

I agree with you, except that you seem to be able to see it in Christianity now too. If you are a Christian, ask yourself - what would scientologists have to do/not do for me to accept them, and not mind that they practice their religion? Then model your own Christian behavior based on that.
