a kid in my school got in a bike accident and is now a quadriplegic very sad his parents are depressed he now is off the ventilator at day =] good news
it means ur dad is fucked, wont be able to move shit , only his head if that , an have to be on a ventalater, to breath , so yea in words,, hes just dead weight , wont even beable to get a hard on , good thing he made u when he did , lol
hey take it easy on the kid, dont just think sayin those things makes u cool only thing you achieve is to make urself look like a complete moron in public
my dad was in a car wreck about 3 weeks ago they said that he broke his neck did something to his spine. he is a c-6 complete will somebody please tell me what that means. nobody will tell me anything or let me see him.
I'm a C6/C7 quad, and I wish I'd seen your message earlier, so I could have reassured you when you most needed it. By now, you probably realize that wheelchairmale is mistaken or simply being cruel in his message.
A C6 quad does NOT need a ventilator and has a lot of arm movement. Adjusting to quadriplegia takes a lot of time and effort--your dad will be doing a lot of rehab. In time, however, he'll learn how to make the most of the function he has left to manage daily activities.
Great transfer! Oh, how I wish that I could transfer independently...
