Those Big Jim toys came out just as I was getting too old to play with action figures, but I remember thinking that they were kind of bizarre, especially with Big Josh who looked like the original "Brawny" guy, and Big Jeff, the blond guy who looked . . . well, gay. A few years after this ad, they dropped the "jock theme" and went with a "super hero" angle with the "Wolf Pack", but a couple years later they discontinued the Big Jim line.

I used to thing that "kung-fu" guy on Big Jim's team with the iron hand, shaved head and chest tattoo was one baaad-lookin' dude.
