The rivets seem that they will prevent the classifier from sliding easily into a bucket, also there is nothing to support the mesh underneath. I have another design on my site if you want to check it out.
@lofreco it goes into the bucket great. No problems there at all. I have not had any problems with needing extra support underneath. I have used that particular classifier probably 20 times now and still going strong. If you make it tight enough with no sag you will not need extra support.It is a quick easy way to make one cheap that gets the job done.
Check out the Hydro Classifier for Gold. It's the newest way to classify your material and you don't have to run it through a sluice box to get the gold. It's the easiest one yet.
If you want free 5 gal buckets find a Painter he has alway got buckets. I paint and give buckets away all the time.

Very nice!! If you are on a tight budget, try your local aquarium store for buckets, I get singles for $2 and 10 for $1.50 each.
