  • why dont you just drink it?

  • @gamrkidd, "yerba" may have originated from the same root as "hierba," but people who drink mate do not make that connection, and NO, nowadays yerba does not mean "herb."

  • Pajarito forever!! :)

  • I love love love mate. I got into it after recently living in Argentina for a year. Thanks for sharing ;)

  • i just tried yerba mate for the first time today. i liked the taste, it was good.

  • lol how can you not pronounce yerba mate?

  • @MeltedLegoGuy

i have a contradictions when i try to pronounce it. I speak fluent spanish and english, so its contradictory between english and spanish pronunciations, because Yerba means Herb in spanish,, and i dont know if thats yerba mate with the spanish word yerba. and mate, i say it in english like 'I need to find a mate'.. blah! i i say it in pure spanish i think people will get more confused,, because around here (SoCal) I dont know A SINGLE person who drinks this or knows of it.

  • @gamrkidd you have to pronounce the "y" in yerba with the argentinian accent like oyu are saying "sherba" that's when it's different. Hierba means herb, yerba is the same as saying yerba mate

  • And Chile!

But we chileans cant make yerba :P tastes like crap.

  • i bought 3 oz for 5$ its great :]

  • this shit is bomb, i just bought a kilo for 5 bucks

  • where do you get it from?

  • @cutiekiska

i have a oriental market close to my house that sells it cheap, but i usually buy Guayaki Yerba Mate because the taste is quality
