I got tested when I was.. 13 or 14. The welts on my back were huge. They itched like crazy and the doctor and nurses were shocked at how allergic I was. I have to get allergy shots every other week now..

man i feel ur pain but ur not as bad as me u only got 27 shots usually for ur age but i got 50 cuz i have a really bad case of prostetic hives, u may know wat they are or not but its the bumps u usually get wen u eat sniff or touch something ur alergic to and im alergic to over 107 things! including tomatos, strawberries, grass, cats, dust, flowers, etc. the rest i cant remember but i have a list but hang in there cuz wen ur usually 15 they go away and im 13 with a really bad case of them

guys do not listen to this guy it doesnt hurt at all it tickles a lot! i was lauging so hard when they were poking me with (not needles) metal i know it sounds bad but it doesnt the only thing bad is that afterwards it gets annoying cuz it itches but u will live! the only thing that kinda hurts is the little arm testings but that doesnt hurt as much as getting ur blood drawn and getting ur blood drawn doesnt hurt and trust me im kind of young so if i can get it u can! :P dont worry!!!

Keep strong, I know how it feels! I came back positive for everything, with the exception of rabbits. Hopefully you will outgrow your allergies!

Same thing happened to me!! I hate the test! They sit you on the bed poke like 27 needles in your back and tell you not to itch it but its hell without itching! Im allergic to Grass & Flowers :(.. Worst combo ever

yeah but if you dont then they end up suffering the way i have for the past 17 years. if your children show any signs of allergies then do something because it's hell trying to live day to day normally when your allergic to just about everything.

When I went in for the test they had to stop it half way through the waiting time because my reactions were so severe. And today when I got my allergy shorts I have a severe localized reaction and had to have some weird emergency injection thing.

I was one shot away from maintenance too D:!

when i had to test for allergies,they firstly did it on my back like in the vid,then inject 13 shots of allergens in my arm,

it resulted tht im allergic to 7 to 8 things....

but now it seems like my allergies are gone :)

umm yeah and how old are you?

this kid looks maybe 8 and he may have allergies that are more severe than yours. and getting the row is completely painful because it feels like someone is stabbing you in several places. in addition, some allergists give a test that uses plastic toothpick-like objects that merely scratch the skin, not poke into it.

well the stab is all at 1ce so its less pain im 12 and when i got my shots i didnt eat anything all day so i felt like i was going to puke so when i went in 4 additional testing a a different docter it felt like 72 lil pinches

My little sister had to get that done cause she always got rashes when she went outside. After the allergy testing, we came to find out that she's allergic to grass.

You should realize that he is not a teen, he's 8 or 9 in this video. Also, he has severe allergies. They leave them on and then shoot him up because of the reactions. So while it might not hurt many- for him it is painful. We spend the time fanning him to help. :)

I don't know why you wrote that, it was 2 years before I saw this video, but if someone is suggesting he is weak or something, I think he didn't act like that at all, he just said very calmly that it was painful, he wasn't crying or anything. Plus those welts looked nasty. So I think he was a tough kid.

The allergy shots can't be any better in the pain department, but I hope they help you.
