The magic of these old Disney films is that the music is part of the movie, essential to the plot. The newer movies add the music in later just to fill a musical requirement. Not only this but interruptions (like Zazu going over the waterfall) are built in and are natural. We need talent like this in today's movies. The new stuff is just so uninspired.

Or do we learn that not all animals get along? Or do you just mean the superficial theme of "the circle of life"? Yes, these movies are classics, but they're classics for a reason. The world has to change. Otherwise, we become stagnant and we cease to exist as human beings. Those children will hear joy from otehr things, so don't discriminate.
