When I found out about Roger Craig Smith being the new Sonic, I felt devastated, Jason Griffith did a great job as Sonic. The main (most likely) reason they replaced the main cast of Sonic voice actors was because people couldn't stop bitching about the fact that Ryan Drummond got replaced. J. Griff and Drummond are both very talented voice actors. Roger C. Smith is okay too, but I'd prefer Jason and Ryan any day!

Jason was my fave voice for Sonic. T.T Right when he perfects his voice for Sonic SEGA gives him the boot... If it wasn't for SEGA's stupidity and horrible script with Sonic '06, I'm positive Jason would have gotten better reviews for his role as Sonic. He did a kickass job in SU, he even stated that SU was his favorite game so at least he was able to end his career as Sonic with a game he loved. He played a killer Werehog, too. XD
It certainly is a pity that you're not the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog anymore. We will miss you; you were an awesome Sonic and a really kickass Shadow. Plus you were hilarious as Jet the Hawk. Personally, I think Jason Griffith is a terrible voice actor. However, there are some voice parts in this video that stand out for me, and actually sound really good. For example, The Machine Girl, Slashuur, and Tatsuha all sound very fluent with no faults. It actually sounds like he's not reading from a script, which in general is how all VAs should sound.
I still honestly think he never should have voiced Sonic, though.

Honestly, Jason was the best voice actor for both Sonic, Shadow and Jet.
Sonic: Cocky, smartass, teenager. Yup, he sounds more teenage-like than Ryan did (Ryan still did a great job)
Shadow: Dark, Badass. Jason's voice fits Shadow completely! Sometimes it sounded like David couldn't act (still good at some points)
Jet: Some think he sounds to high pitched, but i REALLY like Jason as Jet more than Michael Yurchak

Question! Since you are a huge Jason Griffith fan, can you tell me if he voices Crow Hogan on YuGiOh 5D's? Wikipedia sais that he does but the YuGiOh Wiki sais that Pete Capella (Jesse from GX) voices Crow.

I appreciate that you came to me for this question. Only, the problem is, I haven't seen much of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's. So, I did some research and I've counted that 7 sources says it Jason Griffith and 6 say it says it's Pete Capella.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but that's the best I could do.

This guy is amazing. XD I don't care what everyone says--he's a great voice actor. Not a lot of people can bend and twist their voice in different octaves. I couldn't believe ALL of these voices belong to only one person. Wow.
And also, in the lastest Sonic games, he's improved a great deal.

wow that cartoon clip of Super Shadow sounded so young. I coulda swore it got deeper since he vocied in the games (As his Sonic voice also got more deep and less Sonic-sih) but wow that was young. Sounds cool just unfitting lol.
Griffith does a lot of hard voices (like Jet compared to Atticus! In Zero Gravity, Jet sounded cool
idk why ppl think Grifith's Ussop for was bad if he was suppose to talk like that...his replacement ended up doing the same anyways.

Personally, I think Jason Griffith is a terrible voice actor. However, there are some voice parts in this video that stand out for me, and actually sound really good. For example, The Machine Girl, Slashuur, and Tatsuha all sound very fluent with no faults. It actually sounds like he's not reading from a script, which in general is how all VAs should sound.
I still honestly think he never should have voiced Sonic, though.
