  • how the fuk did i end up watching these videos :/

  • "He can tell me what to do - he's a police officer and you're not".

    He's right, you know.

  • No worries, With that blood pressure he wont be around much longer to run his van over anyone :~)

  • from what everyone is saying, it appears that PEOPLE are the cause of all the world's problems. sorry, from now on nobody is allowed to breed. except me, obviously.

  • lame

  • 'Man annoyed because idiot blokes the road in futile cycle demo' would be a better title. These demos just gnerate hate for cyclists..

  • Tell me what right has that fucking cyclist got to stand in front of a vehicle and prevent it from going about its business. He has no right, hes not a policeman and he cannot, by law stop traffic. Its fucking typical, arrogant self opinionated prima donna who thinks he can do what he likes. Needs a fucking good smack around his big head. Give blood run over a cyclist

  • @labyonnette I'd see someone about your obsession. You seem to troll on little else other than how much you hate bikes. Is their absolutely nothing else in your life?

  • @labyonnette He has every right to protect his friends/team from dangerous motorists same as i do when i go hiking two people stop traffic while the others get across it's idiots like you that kill pedestrians and cyclists would you really do the same to a lolly pop lady and mow down the children? and he was only explaining his actions he was not telling him what to do.

  • @labyonnette lol, i think their may be one or two bikers with a brain, but i think you have to be stupid to ride a bike in the roads, people dont walk in the road because cars go faster than them and its dangerous. but some people cant afford cars or busses, and need to get to work. stevenage got it right, underpasses everywhere.

  • haha I love reading comments by Brits. I don't have a clue what you are talking about half the time yet you sound so intriguing.

  • the thing is..there are asholes on bicycles as in cars. and some in both side post up videos on youtube to try and make their point of view accepted.

  • Everyday I seem to come across a numpty cyclist. Im approaching a junction where a cyclist is waiting to join the main road that I am on, from the right. I could see he didnt want to wait because he was going very slow and trying to balance until I passed. Then I had to brake sharp and the numpty cyclist went right into my side. I could have smacked him one but his reaction was that it was MY FAULT

  • @labyonnette Yesterday I was knocked over by some tool on a bike, he ran a red light at a pedestrian crossing. The cars had all stopped and the green man was up yet he came flying down the inside of the cars, jumped the red light and clattered into me. His attitude was that it was funny and my fault for not looking..... It's tossers like that which ruin it for the rest of the good cyclists out there that follow the rules of the road.

  • So you were abusing the privilege of a cross walk

  • It appears the van driver wasn't wearing his seatbelt when he pulled off, not sure why he wasn't nicked for that , i thought as well it was a public order offence to swear in public which is another reason he possible should have been nicked , i'm a motorist and a cyclist and the way some motorists behave towards cyclists is truly horrfic as skin and bone against a car doesn't work

  • With regard to the driver, he was likely in a big hurry to go nowhere, as is most of us. :-)

  • did any body else see that the van driver had no belt on and the copper never nicked him.

  • @randix1716 We only see the van creep forward a distance of maybe 6 inches, it is not compulsaty to wear a seat belt at low speed manoevures,

  • @mitsucanter247365 That is where you are wrong. If your vehicle is on the road and the ignition is on and you are INSIDE the vehicle then you are legally required to wear a seatbelt. It Is The Law.

  • @poodledreams There is instances where that can be excused, LOW speed manoevures such as parking do not require you to wear your seat belt. As a recovery operative, if im carrying out manoevures to access a vehicle or to park a vehicle being pulled or carried on my truck, I do NOT have to wear a seat belt. Taxi drivers do not have to wear a seat belt when carrying passengers(although many choose too).A car driver does not have to wear a seat belt when parking.

  • @mitsucanter247365 Hasn't this recently changed tho? The radio has been banging on about a change in the law for commercial drivers. I'm a van driver at Royal Mail that delivers packets and we never had to wear belts because of constantly getting in and out of the van but managers at work been insisting we do lately, then I starting hearing about commercial drivers and seatbelts on the radio.

  • @Longs81 Possibly, I could be wrong. I dont wear my belt and neither do half the lads at work especially when we have passengers.

  • ive had some big run in with people...yes there are riders out in the road who are annoying..I TOO drive a car...but when some people are driving and they are just not even looking where they are going with no reguard to life its self..those are the ones who burn me up...

  • the english don't use colgate, a simple chat could turn into a death sentence if you're too close!!!

  • I have no idea of the full situation (i.e. why RG decided to take it upon himself to control traffic) but it was still rather amusing when the van driver went from 'mouthy git' to 'foot-in-mouth apologetic' in a matter of seconds. Wawawa... shush! lol

  • why dont bike rider not have to carry insurance like other road users, also by holding the traffic up this rider was causing an obstruction surley

  • @battlestarone it was a cyclist procession.

  • He seemed to ask you to get out of the blinking way instead of blocking his path - seems very reasonable to me. Why were you all stationary and blocking his path anyway? I dont think this is worthy of space here other than to show what idiots you are!

  • who cares how long he was waiting? I can't insist I get to drive through a funeral procession or a parade.

  • @dethfresh immature.

  • All van drivers are wankers like most of the wankers who drive cars, Oooh I've got a weally weally quick car ooh mummy mummy watch me watch me

  • @spm36 Are you really poor n cant afford a car?

  • All my coworkers ask me how I'm able to afford to get a house, etc, while they are struggling. Answer: Don't waste money on a car. They're a lot more expensive than just gas... IRS estimates $.50 a mile in the US. If you figure that for every trip, it adds up quick. Save a ton of money by riding a bike or taking transit. Healthier, too.

  • Most of the anti cyclists on this page are little wankstains cumming all over themselves when they drive they're silly little brum brums that mummy insures for them, wankers

  • so you think you can obstruct a road just because "lords & MPs" are cycling there? what a load of bullshit and just another example of "shitting on the little bloke" the van driver had the right to tell him to get out the way regardless of his attitude towards it. It pisses me off when people in higher places get preferential treatment! chances are the MP's & Lords have never ridden a bike in their life and its just for publicity. Fuck off and die in you're Million £ mansions. Wankers

  • Hey, but we dont get shown how long this delivery van had been waiting for did we? He had his job to do, and he could have been stuck there until he was at his wits end! We don't know. I'd be pissed too

  • Why is the van driver called impatient? Isn't it the cyclists who are impatient? Had they waited for the van to pass, who had right of way, and then proceeded there would not be a problem. Only the Police have the right to direct traffic, not some ponce on a bike,

  • Driver committed to offenses in about 10sec should should have been nicked for them.

  • old pecker...cop had to tell him to shut the f...up and he did.

  • sorry the cyclist had no right to stop the traffic, the police officer should have lifted him for obstructing a public highway

  • With so many people riding bikes in the U.K. and European countries; why is there so much tension between cyclists and motorists?

  • @Drrck11 Roads in Europe are quite narrow compared with the US, and inner city roads in the UK, especially London, are particularly congested. The road layouts are ancient (literally!) and it can cause havoc when an oblivious idiot driver cuts across a cycle lane or an ignorant cyclist tries to squeeze down the side of vehicles right into their blind spot unnecessarily risking a collision. Bad behaviour on both sides causes the tension, really.

  • @TheSestren spot on :)

  • @Drrck11 mainly because our roads are so fucked up, but also because bikes slow everybody else down, you get past, then you stop and their in front of you again, slowing you down again.

  • At least the van driver warned him he was gonna flatten him! Most wouldnt lol

  • I still have the wing mirror in my shed of the last f***head that spoke to me like that.

  • @stevealston185 i had i small accident with the last cyclist that damaged my car, guess who came of worse.

  • @stevealston185 i dont think you do, anyone who uses the word fuckhead and blanks out the work fuck is clearly a goon

  • If there were MP's and lords in the road, the fucker should have ploughed right through them. Wasted opportunity.

The cyclist was a right smug cunt too. Needs a blow torch taking to his balls.

  • @juniorjunior69 ^5 .......... too right m8 !

  • Why was the cyclist antagonising the driver in the first place?

  • @bladder1010 hes blocking him from moving

  • That van driver should have been gassed.

Before unleashing a tazer on his head.

  • @beardtrick Now that would have been good.

  • The cyclist may be polite, but he's still a cunt.

  • probably stressed out pullin his tits out to earned 500 pound a week to live in a grotty bedsit......................get up north wi yer............stress free.............come to think of it stay down there bricktop.............lol

  • london is shit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nuff said

  • Cop should have wrote that asshole up

  • That's what you get for being old and bitchy!!!

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @10tx When the police tell you to stop, You stop? He is stopped, That`s the issue, I think the policeman eventually agrees with the driver, I think you can here him say " I beg your pardon" And the driver pulls away. Either that, Or it`s the driver apologizing for swearing in the street.

  • Smiling while being an arrogant prick blocking traffic doesn't make you "polite".

  • @telemov THE ARROGANT PRICKS ARE THE DRIVERS, I DON'T CYCLE BUT YOU GIVE THEM PLENTY OF ROOM AS THEY MIGHT TOUCH/HIT YOUR 15,000 POUND CAR BUT IF YOU HIT THEM IT COULD BE YOUR LIFE SO BE MORE CONSIDERATE THEY WOULD ONLY TOUCH IT AS A LAST RESORT IF THEY THINK THEIR LIFE IS IN DANGER WHEN MOST OF THE TIME IT IS.

  • @Confrontationify thing is, when im on a bike, i try not to upset drivers, simply because if it comes to it, its gonna hurt me more than them, ok so they might lose their licence, not quite as bad as being killed tho is it!, if im in a car, an a bike thinks we can both fit, ill take their word for it, as its them that stands to lose more, and their in a better position to decide.

  • @patmaherjfm you sure? if he endangers me or any other hiker he will be staring down the barrel of an sa80

  • @Confrontationify thats assuming you still alive! thats was my point

  • Damn bike riding road whores

  • Sounded like "bricktop"

  • Policeman should have maced him.

  • The vans at the crossing, And the bloke on the bicycle is blocking for people who are on they way to it, The law is with the van driver, In no case, Short of an accident is anybody allowed to block the road.

  • @xmoroseguyx Law states you always give way to pedestrians. Also when the Police tell you to stop, you stop.

  • Gotta say, I agree with the driver. I'm a cyclist and loathe the road-raging, overtaking pricks who think piloting a 2-20 tonne lump of steel on wheels gives them supreme right of way over all pink fleshy things, especially ones that dare use wheels as well.

However, this appears to be a feeble publicity stunt backed up only by the public. In actual authorised cycle groups the borders are carefully monitered, and the van wouldn't have got so close that a bike has to stand in front of him

  • twat.

  • The way I see it is... the CIVILIAN cyclist blocked the road so MP's could go cycling merrily past on their publicity stunt and that the road was blocked for some considerable time. The MP's were NOT at work as they should have been...unlike the busy Van driver who has to earn a living. A clash of priorities spring to mind. Those who work for a living being held up by those who don't.

Notice they move out of the way only after the REAL policeman intervenes.

  • The biker is at fault. Stay out of the way. You should have been run over.

  • @brklynmd3 Then the van driver would be in jail, good, where he belongs.

  • @KrunchyJD would you be happy to lose your life, just to know he would go to jail?

  • Van driver reminds of a character in "Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrells"

  • @hill1916 No they just wankers fed on poor quality fast food.

  • @hill1916 Bricktop lmao

  • @hill1916 Do you know what nemesis means? A righteous infliction of retrobution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified, in this case, by a orribuwl cunt.......Me." :-D

  • @hill1916 HAHA Brick top. Had visions of the van driver going gimme the fucking shooter... lol

  • at the same time as doing this bike ride these so called members of parliament were defrauding 69 million Britons, stealing money. lying scum, thieving dirt bags, baby murdering dirt

  • @MANCKIE true :) probaly a distraction.

  • Busted!

  • van driver + bus drivers = fat fucks who think the roads are just for themselves... CUNTS

  • This video never gets old. I love how the guy clams up when the policeman arrives on the scene. LOL!

  • He's a madman that's going to kill someone unless he sorts his head out.

  • Hmmm.

    Motorist in such a keen hurry that he F O R G O T to put his S E A T B E L T on.

Oi, cobbler - what is the hurry?

If you have got T I M E to get out the vehicle and talk -= hello............who's in a hurry?

  • @warmsunset62 With any luck he'll go through his front window.

  • What a cunt!

  • y do mps and pigs think they are above the law? no right to block the road. They intimidate the van driver. the police are always blocking the road for no reason. cyclists have little compassion too.

  • Hahaha "Move the bike" followed by "He can tell me what to do but you cant"

    Double standards anyone?

  • @JHillyer000

Well yeah. Of course the police get to tell him where and how to drive--that's their job! In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I'd assume a cop standing in the street directing traffic has a clue how and a reason why. A random noob on a bike? Yay for saving the planet, but some of us still have to get to work...

  • @avengingmime Well get to work on a bike then

  • @KrunchyJD

Great for those who can, and I congratulate them on being less lazy than me :)

It may be different where you are, but in much of the States the commute is well beyond reasonable biking range, and there is little to no public transportation. In my small city for instance, it's a choice of 2 hours of a bus, or 20 minutes in a car. I can't image how long it would take non-Lances like myself to cycle it.

In the case of this video....the dude in the van IS working, or trying to be.

  • @avengingmime Thats only becauzse everyone wants to drive everywhere. If people wanted to ride a bike to work, or catch public transit then the government would save a shit load by providing for that rather then huge waste of space highways and urban sprawl. You will have to do it soon or later anyway peak oil is almost here and Petrol (Gasoline) prices are going to skyrocket anyway.

  • @KrunchyJD their are lots of eletric cars now, and places to charge them, I dont think cars are going to dissapear in our lifetime.

  • @KrunchyJD theirs also the issue of delivering goods. And carrying tools. How do you supose bikes get to the shops ?

  • @KrunchyJD i did, untill i had to get a job 50 miles from home, and in this weather.... hmm i think not, i value my life !

  • poor blokes just trying to get to work

  • pissed of van driver vs twat of a cyclist

  • The van driver had a darn good reason to be irate. This "polite cyclist" had no lawful right to stop in the roadway, block vehicles, and illegally detain others. It's against the law to impede the flow of traffic and detaining others against their will could be considered kidnapping. Only a police officer is permitted to direct traffic, and only then with restraint to prevent unnecessary delays.

  • @stewartx5

Kidnapping? You idiot. Most traffic controllers are not police, lollipop holders at school crossings, building sites etc. Would love to see you test your theory in court you fool.

  • @marcusesq Read your state laws. School crossing guards, construction flagmen, and so on are legally permtted to direct traffic as necessary - a bicyclist is not.

  • @stewartx5 Rubbish. I have a traffic controllers ticket, as do many people. If you have a permit to hold a bike ride as this event almost certainly would have been, the the organizers have to supply the traffic controllers.

  • @marcusesq Right. And the police officers were there just to enjoy the sights.

  • @stewartx5 Perhaps he was there to stop the van driver being kidnapped by the traffic controller? Time to give up on this one champ.

  • @stewartx5 I agree. Though this case considered as kidnapping would be laughable in any court.

  • The van driver soon shut his big Cockney gob when he twigged one of them was a Copper. ROFL.

  • The cyclist didn't have any lawful power to stop the van driver on the road, that would be up to a police officer in uniform to do that, the cyclist was pushing his luck, as usual.

  • The cyclist didn't have any power to stop the van driver on the road, that would be up to a police officer in uniform to do that, the cyclist was pushing his luck, as usual.

  • Unfortunately i meek dicks like this almost daily on my cycle comute to work.

  • If some dope came up to me and held my car up because he wanted to ensure the safety of cyclists. I would explain I have a license a brain and get out of my way. I don't have to be told to wait until people are safe before I drive. Nowadays you have to be careful about stopping for a stranger.

  • the van driver has every right to earn a living without been held against his will .

  • @blobby1972 Held against his will? get a grip you tit.

  • he pays for the right to use the road the prick on the bike should know his place in the gutter

  • people can only see their own point of view and car drivers are the worst lot for this.

    quote car crash statistics com

"Car Crash Stats: There were nearly 6,420,000 auto accidents in the United States in 2005. The financial cost of these crashes is more than 230 Billion dollars. 2.9 million people were injured and 42,636 people killed. About 115 people die every day in vehicle crashes in the United States -- one death every 13 minutes."

add blighted homes due to road building programmes

  • @mustymodo to add to my comment...

please post here any link to data or statistics that show a comparison to the death and injury caused by angry drivers like this one.

An angry man with a gun or knife would be taken into custody for the publics safety.

being held up can get to you.. but you have to remember your vehicle can be a deadly weapon if you drive in a rage.

I've seen van drivers swerve at car drivers as a threat and car drivers doing it to cycles and motorcycles. bullying.

  • the driver probably had work to do, the cyclist is not in any position to cause blockades.... this cyclist is anything but polite, he's acting like a fool on the road like most cyclists and causing stress to people who actually understand laws of the road. whether he was on a motorbike, in a car or riding a lawnmower, blockading another person who has shit to do is plain stupid.

  • what a fruit case why was in front of the van like the van is going to run over everyone

  • The cretinous 'London' accent does not help; tosser should be shot!!

  • its those fucken drivers who have no idea. if you hate cyclists so much go to europe and try piss them off there. youll have your ass sued off you for as much as touching them. all it takes is a bit of politeness. most of you drivers who rack off dont even need your car your just to lazy to walk or ride the 20 minutes to your work place. im ready just to punch the shit out of the next driver who trys to fuck with me. im allways conciderate so if your a pushy driver F#*k you

  • cyclists are gay

  • @italman24 How do you know unless you're following them to the bedroom...

  • @italman24 Which makes you a nigger's bitch. Fuck you.

  • "Get out of my way. I'm 60 years old, I've only got ten years to live and I've got to fit a lot in."

  • "polite cyclist", my ass. he's a dick for blocking the van. the driver was right.

  • Roger Geffen is not in authority to stop traffic. he isn't a policeman or lollipop lady.

  • Look at it this way though,it must be terrible being stuck in a tin box in a traffic jam...not that I would know about anyway ;-)

  • That guy seems to be stressed.

  • By the way, are all those commenting here British? Because such videos in the U.S. are simply FULL of comments by irate drivers, who insist that bicyclists should all stay out the road...

  • @7instantcoffee7

I am a regular cyclist in the UK and we have some crazy motorists here who are ardently anti-cyclist. I suspect it's because they have no sex life.

  • So did the cop let the man go?? He should have been ticketed!

People need to learn how to behave at some age, after all!

  • Comment removed

  • cars are evil and make ppl in them evil.

  • @Axbent That's an interesting insight. There may be some truth to that.

  • @LeadOnWiseMan Watch Goofy´s Motormania /watch?v=mZAZ_xu0DCg

  • @Axbent I've seen that classic many times. The world really has gone mad over the auto. It's a travesty very few people can "see" that, let alone take a stand for alternate modes of transportation (i.e. bicycles).

  • @LeadOnWiseMan lol, how do bikes get to the shops, are you sugessting the delivery drivers should be on bikes ?

  • ? He clearly does realise there's police there and actually that's probably why he got out and swore, I bet he'd been there for ages.

What's more worrying is why you are filming that in that manner. It's clearly really irritating, he's just trying to get somewhere yet you're stood infront of him filming him. It's like someone in a post office filming the queue behind them instead of moving up.

Everyone is a cyclist but only elite licence holders may use a car, show them more courtesy.

  • @Energonorama "elite"? LMAO! You're havin a laugh. Anyone can pass a UK driving test - thats why theres 32m cars on the roads here - half the population.

  • @downfader2

I don't believe that anyone can pass a UK test. If that were true, then why do so many drive without a valid licence?

  • @downfader2 do you have a driving licence, and have you done a theroy test, or hazard preseption test, or evan a sight test ? maybe you have, but most cyclists havent. i didnt do theroy or hazard perseption, but i have had a clean driving licence for almost 20 years now. i dont agree that its easy at all, much easier to ride a bike without any training, or insurence.

  • @patmaherjfm Your right, many cyclists don't have any type of training, & some are short sighted & even drunk. Despite this they kill about one pedestrian in the UK every 15 years or so. You on the other hand are in charge of a potentially lethal vehicle that killed 2538 people in 2008 alone. To me that shows that restrictions on motorists don't go nearly far enough, & cycling is safer than shaving.

There are more uninsured motorists on the road than there are cyclists altogether. Lets sort that.

  • @patmaherjfm I believe that most cyclists are also drivers - so many people wrongly assume most cyclists don't own cars and can't drive. An example that might surprise you is that 6 out of 10 Boris bikers in London earn more than £50,000pa.

Whilst cyclists can use the road without training or insurance, that's because they don't injure/kill people or cause property damage to anything like the degree that drivers do. What about all those uninsured drivers that do the same?

  • @Energonorama

Perhaps cyclists should show drivers more courtesy, but drivers should show courtesy to cyclists, by not cutiing them up; overtaking and turning in-front; overtaking and stopping; yelling obscenities; passing danerously close at speed; throwing objects; etc.

  • MP's and lord were crossing the road...Anyone else wishing that he'd just floored it and flattened the frigging lot of them?

  • PWND!! Miserable twat.

  • I think some kind if psychological profiling should be implemented when people do their car test, so many out there quite plainly should never be behind the wheel. make road rage a crime, once convicted you lose your license. it would get some scum off the road, ease traffic flow due to less traffic and less beligerent knob heads trying to barge their way to the front of the queue and thus less pollution. a winner all round.

  • @mrspivvy

You're absolutely right! I'm afraid there'd be very few male drivers under the age of fifty.

  • @mrspivvy You are so right. Would you allow many of the motorists you encounter, to carry an automatic weapon around the streets; don't think so! Many should be restricted to walking with chains around their legs!

  • @gracko14 I agree with you. I remember a stand-up routine a few years back, the guy was saying it's lucky we don't have the right to bear arms in this country. "at a set of lights, the guy in front fails to notice for a nanosecond that the lights have changed to green...if you had a gun, he'd be DEAD!!!"

  • @mrspivvy > '.. psychological profiling .. scum .. knob heads ..'

I'd agree to that as long as you're willing to go first. With your attitude towards others, I suspect you'd be the very first to lose road privileges.

  • @mrspivvy

that would just put more illegal drivers on the road.

  • @mrspivvy, true that.

  • @mrspivvy Yours are one of the best arguments I've ever read on the subject.

But I'm afraid that the multinational companies (cars, oil, etc..) that really

rule the world are not ging to permit that.

In my country a kind of psychological test is done when you get the licence, but even people with severe mental disorders pass the test.It 's only a formality.

  • @mrspivvy wow that is probly the best idea ive herd all day very legit bro

  • @mrspivvy you know why they don't do it? ...SALES!! sales my friend, the men behind the curtain don't care about you, they just want to make more money and get more power. Without a license you can't buy the car in the first place.

  • @mrspivvy i think that should apply to anybody using the roads

  • @patmaherjfm A fair point. I drive HGVs and that particular section of road users is certainly not immune from those of an impatient aggressive nature, although I've got to say you do develop a whole different outlook to driving in a truck.

  • Pedestrians throw up in back of taxi's, get in fights, rob people.

Drivers - drink drive, drive bad, drive too slow, drive too fast

  • Pedestrians - get in fights, throw up in back of taxi's Rob people and take drugs.

Drivers - drink drive, break the speed limit, drive badly, go through red lights

  • @bgerhold drivers are ALSO pedestrians ;)

  • @bgerhold Cyclists - Jump red lights, Go the wrong way up one way streets, use the pavement, generally piss off Drivers and Pedestrians!

  • @diamondgeeza06 so fucking what if they piss you off, you piss me off but Im not gonna run over you

  • @diamondgeeza06 funny, they do that in Cambridge too (especially go the wrong way up one-way streets),mind you so do white van drivers, I saw one drive along the pavement to go around a queue and he promptly drove into the side of a car pulling out his driveway. Turned out the van driver had no licence, insurance, tax or MOT - rather like a cyclist, I guess.
