I agree with ilzei27! My Phone is almost 4 years old and i received it when it was 3 years old. Even my uncle gave it to me this phone when it was 3 years old and until now it is still in working condition!! Great Phone!!!!!

You do not need to take off the battery cover off at all to pop open the usb port. Just 'nail pull' one of the sides of the usb cover with your finger and you're golden ;)

I just got that phone and the only thing bad about it is when i lock the key pad the light takes so long to turn off. Would u or any1 else no how to change it to take a shorter amount of time PLZ PLZ i beg some1 to help me...... REPLY BAK IF U HAVE HELP

You can change it in the settings. Under the battery options I think. It has been awhille since I used it I have the nokia n85 which I will be reviewing soon

my friend have it but he have it about 2 years and the speakers is a bit worse than it was. he said that u have to clean the dust form them. oh well i dunno i have a E51 n70 n73 and this one i bought this one from me friends 20 bucks though.. its good but i have to change the battery the cover. oh man :)

this phone dont have File manager thats why i cannot install some extra application unlike the N series of Nokia. but overall its a nice phone, good quality sound of music and bang for the bucks.

Gonna buy the full version now. Only 6300 compatible vid converter i could find. No freeware worked.

Was impressed to find vids can be converted to any recient nokia mobile compatibility(bar a few).

Yeah there is a way to do that. On mine when I get a call they will blink and slowly fade in and out. I forget how I did it though.

Yeah that battery life on this phone isn't too great. However if you charge it everynight it should be fine, or invest in a car charger.

dude, thats like the best review of this phone that ive seen, and ive seen a lot. im considering buying it now, coz i had like 20 or 30 mobiles in the past couple of years and nokia always had the best ones imho. one question though. i know it doesnt support .doc/.xls/.rtf/ files but could you open a .txt file with it? I know my 6280, 6288 and bqs s68/el71 could view them as normal files, just wondering how would the 6300 perform.

It holds those files as data files, sort of like a flash drive if you will. Sadly no you can't view them on the phone unless you download 3rd party software
