Its fun looking back at old t.v. shows especially this one because you see soo many actors that you see today like where they first started. Its amazing just watched the pilot and I saw maybe 3 that you see today.... I love/loved this show me and my sister watched all the time, she had JC and I had Eddie man they are so good looking

Hi I have seen this in other old tv shows as well - and some one explained it as this..

When they make a tv show - they pay for the use of the music for a limit time only -or for tv broadcarsting only..

When the shows later are sold on dvd they don't own the rights to use the music anymore- and if they have to renew the contracts the costs are to big.

I really thank you for putting up this show...I have no choice but to purchase this DVD in the future. Back in the day: This show was the shit!!! It's so sad that these types of shows are not on the air on the major channels today...nothin but junk on TV nowadays. I watched this show in my teens with my peoples when I lived out of NYC and I realized that I really miss home...NYC. These were great times for me..espcially that time period of my life (from '93-'98). Hope you upload the rest of it!!

That makes sense. I don't remember Season Four...lol. When Eddie died....I already knew that was the end of the show. Season Four messed up the series..lol. I did recall watching the first episode of the last season for about 3 minutes and knew that there weren't going to be too many episodes after that...lol. It's my pleasure....I don't think I had watched too many shows after this show ended..just maybe The Wire and The Sopranos. I go back to NYC often now but back then I couldn't.

I watched the Preimere for about 3 seconds and turned it off...they didn't even give Eddie a funeral or anything which was SOO WRONG! I mean Sandy got a funeral but Eddie doesn't? WTF?

when i watched season 4 i always thought that they would bring back eddie since they didnt give him a funeral , and even though they said he was dead, that they faked his death to catch the killer for macnamara. wish this show would have never went off.

@richyarbra I feel you! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, i remember this was always what me and my friends would talk about when we were 13 (1994) , TV,music,clothes was all great back in the 90s. Now they have those stupid police shows that aren't interesting or teach anything, and theyre all the same topic, SEX SEX SEX, just to get younger viewers intrested.

I miss this show so much! It was the bomb back in the day when I was 11! I think it was even more intense than Law & Order at times, but I like both of these crime dramas anyway.

Originally I HATED Nina cause I didn't want her with Eddie but....I don't hate her as much as I used to anymore LOL!
