@destuctir its just a preferance of how you like to play blood angels are all about the fast attack and asault and have special rules to help support that and make them even better at it. each chapter of space mariens has a different play style.
The guy holding the banner, in your first assault squad is an empperors champion. I'm nearly positive anyway. Nice army by the way. Lots of transport vehicles and awesome designs on rhinos.
@MyGuitarAndSatan The standard answer to that question is go with Marines. Orks are a very unforgiving army to play with. Marines are balanced and flexible. You will have a better learning experience with them. Hope that helps!

If you're running the latest version of the codex, then I think you need to re-read something as your Land Speeder has invalid weaponry. Otherwise it's a nice list, similar what to I play myself except I'm running a Land Raider instead of speeder and attack bike. And nicely painted.
Hey Jawa I was wondering (please excuse if this has been asked before) what is the benefit of taking the jump packs off Assault Marines? I have the Codex in front of me (5e) and I don't really see the benefit. They have decent of angels but that only works if they're deepstriking, they have the same stats as Tactical Marines but cost more points.
GOD I hate 1750 pt Lists!! So few options, and not enough room for real heavy hitters. I play 2000 pt lists, and that is still hard for me to keep things the way I like them, with plenty of variety.

why is brother Corbulo with your DC they already have furious charge and its not worth saving one guy... also a Chaplin would give them all re-roles. something i found is a lot more useful than saving one guy. and the two cost the same, or you can give the Chaplin a power fist for 25 and him and his DC can go tear some tanks apart. anyhow don't see why people keep bringing him with their death company.
@xblackdog Well keeping squads near him to get them FC is the point of Corbs isn't it. Especially in an army that has Dante. Dante gives rerolls to every one within 12", on every shot, not just the charge. Corbs gives FC to every one. A chap only gives rerolls on the charge. Let me see what is better, a chaplain giving a squad rerolls they dont need, but only that squad, or corbs giving the squad FC that they don't need, but also giving it to every one else?
I'm not saying he is useless in general I'm just saying with DC he isn't so useful, with a veteran squad or honor guard who don't have FC he would work better that way you don't have to keep in mind weather they're within 12". so I'm not saying not to bring him just not to have him with the DC... his ability to give FC is a great tool, especially when you need chain swords to rip a rhino in half ;)
You were saying was that a chaplain was a better choice to bring with the DC. That is not true. The only thing that might make a chaplain better is a power weapon, but the FC bubble is a better trade. Plus, you don't want him going into assault at all because he can heal one guy per player turn for a possible of 14 negated wounds in a 7 turn game. You also said you dont see why people put him with the DC. His ability to control them, and grant FC to every one else is why. Best of both worlds.
hey jawaballs, i need recommendations on my blood angels army, i have a captain, a terminator squad all with power fists and the sergeant with a power sword, 2 combat squads 1 with a flamer and the other with a launcher and a dreadnought with a twin linked lascannon.
How did you make those banners, like the one on your tactical squad sergeant. Or if you got it from a kit, which one? I'm struggling to make a good one for my Imperial Guard, and I don't have any spare bitz at the moment...

Im now waiting till they re-do our codex because tht stupid paper pdf garbage sucks as our new codex. 4th edition was way better. the fact that we cannot take vanguards so we can have the heroic intervention special rule is just ridiculous and we should also have Land Raider Redeemer since we are a close combat army so those flamestorm cannons would be so good for us since we have to usually run the whole army forward quick.
dude if you want to move your guys fast keep them with their jumpacks . they dont have to disemberk from those. even though they dont have over charged engines you still move fast . plus over charged engines are an entire guess game. why risk not moving at all on a turn for a few more inches.

Ok im guessing theres some pretty experienced warhammer 40k players who enjoy watching these videos so I am gonig to shoot my question out there.
I am going to be starting to play Warhamemr 40k and I am stuck on choosing an army. I am stuck deciding between Space marines and Orkz.
Now I am going to be getting Assault on Black Reach set but I want to know what you guys think I should carry on collecting afterwards.

If you are using groups of 5 in Rhinos why not use Razorbacks?

why is brother Corbulo with your DC they already have furious charge and its not worth saving one guy... also a Chaplin would give them all re-roles. something i found is a lot more useful than saving one guy. and the two cost the same, or you can give the Chaplin a power fist for 25 and him and his DC can go tear some tanks apart. anyhow don't see why people keep bringing him with their death company.

Because he controls the DC and he gives FC to every one within 12". Its pretty obvious to me.

yes but dc already have FC base. unless you keep a normal assault squad near him(within 12') then he isn't giving his bonus to anyone.

@xblackdog Well keeping squads near him to get them FC is the point of Corbs isn't it. Especially in an army that has Dante. Dante gives rerolls to every one within 12", on every shot, not just the charge. Corbs gives FC to every one. A chap only gives rerolls on the charge. Let me see what is better, a chaplain giving a squad rerolls they dont need, but only that squad, or corbs giving the squad FC that they don't need, but also giving it to every one else?

I'm not saying he is useless in general I'm just saying with DC he isn't so useful, with a veteran squad or honor guard who don't have FC he would work better that way you don't have to keep in mind weather they're within 12". so I'm not saying not to bring him just not to have him with the DC... his ability to give FC is a great tool, especially when you need chain swords to rip a rhino in half ;)

You were saying was that a chaplain was a better choice to bring with the DC. That is not true. The only thing that might make a chaplain better is a power weapon, but the FC bubble is a better trade. Plus, you don't want him going into assault at all because he can heal one guy per player turn for a possible of 14 negated wounds in a 7 turn game. You also said you dont see why people put him with the DC. His ability to control them, and grant FC to every one else is why. Best of both worlds.

hey jawaballs, i need recommendations on my blood angels army, i have a captain, a terminator squad all with power fists and the sergeant with a power sword, 2 combat squads 1 with a flamer and the other with a launcher and a dreadnought with a twin linked lascannon.
any tips or recommendations will be great.

Im now waiting till they re-do our codex because tht stupid paper pdf garbage sucks as our new codex. 4th edition was way better. the fact that we cannot take vanguards so we can have the heroic intervention special rule is just ridiculous and we should also have Land Raider Redeemer since we are a close combat army so those flamestorm cannons would be so good for us since we have to usually run the whole army forward quick.

dude if you want to move your guys fast keep them with their jumpacks . they dont have to disemberk from those. even though they dont have over charged engines you still move fast . plus over charged engines are an entire guess game. why risk not moving at all on a turn for a few more inches.
