@freakyguru My family has taken me on 5 cruises, they aren't stupid. They are the best holiday you can have if anyone in your family struggles to walk (my grandpa) and they are perfectly safe. Choose a decent cruise line and you are more likely to die by getting struck by lightning than you are from the ship sinking. The floating time bomb comment is plain ignorant, almost no ships are kept in the water until they sink but are decommissioned.
