Thanks to my friend I stopped playing WoW. It was too easy and just, not fun. So my friend sent me some invite thing for EVE. It's the best game I ever played. Thanks to EVE I found this video here on youtube and I started listening to "god is an astronaut". Thanks to god is an astronaut I actually have the energy to every friggin cold morning walk to college and actually look forward to it. Awesome.
this is actually the first song for an eve video that is decent! Good job! Most people who post similar eve videos have the worst taste in music but this is a nice change.
U cannot get NYX into WH, it doesn't allow supercarriers and titans inside.
Only carriers and dreads.
Besides the spawns are weird, no combat site in C4 or higher (this is Class 5 btw) starts off with a few frigs. There's always a nice surprise waiting for you that NO solo sub-cap ship can tank on it's own.
@Wargargble anything that is a Battleship or below.
Orca, Freighters/Jump-Freighters, Rorqual, Carriers, Dread, Super-Carrier and Titans are capitals, the later two are super-caps. Everyting else is sub-cap.
Also remember to set up for this in a high sec system that has the NPC everything for sale for 100 isk markets. Becuase there is no way to get your cap ship into high sec unless yo ubuy it there, even on the test server :P
Also, I recomend using a naglifar. Since projectile weapons do not use cap, once concord drains it you can still shoot, Go for a frigate, and watch for transversal velocity to hit 0 on the overview so your cap sized guns don't miss :P
nice C5 WH there, but if u cannot finish hardest sites with 5 sleeper BS spawns with sub-cap fleet. Theres no way u gonna survive 6Elites' escalations + initial mobs there :P

Sleepers are ancient drones, that reside in wornholes... people in fleets like this one go into the wormholes looking for sleepers because the items you get from the wreckage is worth alot of ISK *Eve online currency* but it is also extremely high risk!

Sleepers are an AI/NPC controlled entity of Eve Online, they are also drones, so very quick, very smart, very strong.... in the Eve online storyline the sleepers are an ancient drone civilization that has either chosen to live in wormholes or has been forced to live there im not sure, but thats where you find them. Like i said before its a dangerous exercise to seek out sleepers but it is also very lucrative, if, you manage to get out in one piece! :)
lol, yeah ill pay that! you had me going :P my corp has two POS atm, in WH's and is wanting a lowsec one too, just sort of looking at the options of allying the guys with sovereignty, but im not sure if trying thats even a good idea, they might take the ISK and bust up the POS anyway.... but we'll see what happens :) Fly Safe! =)
Probably in a C1, maybe in a C2 with fair drone skills and a tanked Hulk. I doubt in C3. Definitely not in C4, 5 or 6.
If you decide to do it, only attempt it on Grav sites named "Perimeter". Regardless of the class of the WH, they're divided up in 3 categories. Perimeter, Frontier and Core (as with other signatures and anomalies. Perimeter being the easiest. Don't try it on a Core site or your Hulk will be ripped apart before you even start accelerating. I won't recommend on a Frontier either.

it's not hard to fit a Mael. Just look at its bonuses, and it should be easy to decide what should be fit on it... X-large shield booster II, some invuls, maybe 1 em hardener, 8x 800mm repeating artilleries, then throw some gyrostabs in the lows (maybe 3), along with a damage control and maybe a cap flux coil or a co-cpu if you need that.
I once invited a friend with me to a wormhole (dont know class) she was flying a Thrasher, and from 60km they got a plane hit... she had 5% structure left.. and that shot was from a bs... from god damn 60km... they can hit a target from any range
You know, you are not supposed to fly destroyers in Wormholes, if you plan to attack sleepers. At least use a Battlecruiser, or better yet, a Battleship. (And to the range: I hit you with my Apocalypse from 200km+ :P)
well we didnt whant to fight them, i was in a covert ops cloacked... we just wanted to "look" at them :P and since i had allready been fighting them and seen they do a insane close range dmg.. i never expected they would be able to hit with max dmg from 60km...
its not strange when you take in account they are a sort of Jovens... but when you think of normal races they have to sets of weapons:
Long range.. and shoort range... not both in 1 weapon. so the first times you meet them you do not expect them to be able to hit at both 5km and 100km with the same weapon :)
im not sure i get your message... we are not talking about the force in the movie... but our own experiences.. beside my message was not "bring destroyers in wormholes" but "they had a perfect hit on a destroyer from 60km" :)
Well they are different AI, they are still AI, so you can manipulate them, but you have to know the rules going in, and be in a proper fit gang. Half azzed solo rating in a lv5 or lv6 wormhole means you die, no matter your ship.
well if your read your info.. you see that the warp effekt is actualy an error... so they have corrected that effect to the one you see now :) you can probably find movies of the old one.
I know it was an error with the effect, but i kinda thought it looked cool :P
This was a quick thing, Oneiromancer basically just showed up and said "who wants to go to wormhole space?", so most of us took whatever we happened to have ready. Though he was nice enough to teleport us back and forth to refit or grab new ships.
And yeah, whole thing was on the test server so cost isn't an issue ;)

eeeh the sleepers arent so tough. i soloed them in my harby.... till i got a respawn of about 5 bs. i could still tank them long enough to be able to kill the frig that was jamming me.. still a good fid tho
I sort of wish wormholes spawn less frequently, so I can start the diaries of "lost in space" when a wormhole closes on me. One friend actually panicked on his first trip when the wormhole we used closed and was thinking of self destructing "suicide" before we found another wormhole back to normal space an hour later...
Best way to fight Sleepers is with several RR Scorps and domi's, fit 2 energy trans, 2 Remote armor reps, and get the energy going into a circle, then you can all put armor on primary target, Have scorps fit 4 multi's, and 4 racial, for different ranges, as sleepers have the same strength across the board,
Sleepers do EM/Therm with lazorz and explosive and kinetic with missles.
Concord is not invincible but yet still can not be killed by players, the sleepers can be killed by players quite easily.
Does that not show that concord is better?
As for being better fitted. Concord can neut a capital ship to 0 cap in 5 seconds. Web for 100% velocity. And sensor damp you down to 0 targeting range.
If the sleepers can not move or target and do not even have cap, then how do they win? :)
@Dan7e7ucker: They don't neut you. They have a script that simply removes your cap. Also they have a script that kills *insert name of your ship here* in 2 volleys.
My Computer has some dumbed down ones and ever since the update its just been shocking the jumps lag the combat lags the stations lag and the deaths make the screen go black i dunno what graphics card to get and its not my processor
You know they have a free 14 day trial [21 day on steam] If you grind hard enough in that time you could probably raise the isk, 300 mill or so, to play the game for free
I wouldn't advise it but it's technically possible. If you grind lvl 2's in a cruiser, which is possible in a few days, you can make like 1-5 mill isk per mission counting bounties + loot/salvage. So anywhere from 300-60 missions in 21 days or about 15-3 missions per day [more as you can't start in a cruiser] and it becomes possible but a lot of grinding.
Well to do true HD you have to record at full size, which for me is 1680x1050. The raw video is about 1 GB per minute then and without a top of the line computer you get some serious performance problems while recording at that size.
On top of that Youtube likes to screw up the quality, even the HD version of this video was shrunk down by Youtube for some reason.

Though since some of the stars in the wormhole systems are older then the universe, it could be that the wormholes take us through time. And that would make the four advanced races (Sleepers, Talocan, Takmahl, Yan Jung) the future of the four empires. Granted, the Talocan only have
structures at this point and I haven't seen anything of the other two. I think Sleepers=Gallentes, Takmahl=Minmatar, Talocan= Amarr, and Yan Jung= Caldari, but thats just by the discriptions of each adv. races skills

There really isn't anything more to tell about the Jove.
Their a race aliens so power and ancient that they've sealed off all stargates to their space, and they never venture out at all mostly because of all the genetic alterations they've done to themselves (it's caused a disease to kill Joves to spread).
There is a backstory of a Jove Mothership once appearing and firing it's gun once and oblitering 1/3 (?) of an Amarr Fleet.

Nah, go fight them on Sisi in a dread/carrier. They do standard damage, and nuet like normal.
You can look up there moduals in the database dump as well, the moduals just nuet A LOT, not enough to drain a dread in one cycle but a lot.
My experiences fighting concord with a naglifar had me lasting about 50 seconds, I could generally destroy one of there frigates before I went down.
I hope you will go try this yourself, it is quite fun :)

Every capital ship that enters a sleeper site spawns an extra 6 BS. Plus they aggro all your ships, find the weakest tanks then take those out first.

Sleepers, concord isn't nearly as well fitted as sleepers.

Concord is not invincible but yet still can not be killed by players, the sleepers can be killed by players quite easily.
Does that not show that concord is better?
As for being better fitted. Concord can neut a capital ship to 0 cap in 5 seconds. Web for 100% velocity. And sensor damp you down to 0 targeting range.
If the sleepers can not move or target and do not even have cap, then how do they win? :)

@Dan7e7ucker: They don't neut you. They have a script that simply removes your cap. Also they have a script that kills *insert name of your ship here* in 2 volleys.

Nah, they don't. But once they are down for example a Sleepless Patroler dies rather quickly.

Eve is run on todays super computers.
There is no private servers. Its impossible unless someone has a over 1m computer..eve has so many star systems and items.

my computer cost me £200 + £40 for a graphics card. It runs eve incredibly well, and is in no way a super computer.

My Computer has some dumbed down ones and ever since the update its just been shocking the jumps lag the combat lags the stations lag and the deaths make the screen go black i dunno what graphics card to get and its not my processor

You know they have a free 14 day trial [21 day on steam] If you grind hard enough in that time you could probably raise the isk, 300 mill or so, to play the game for free

I wouldn't advise it but it's technically possible. If you grind lvl 2's in a cruiser, which is possible in a few days, you can make like 1-5 mill isk per mission counting bounties + loot/salvage. So anywhere from 300-60 missions in 21 days or about 15-3 missions per day [more as you can't start in a cruiser] and it becomes possible but a lot of grinding.

Well to do true HD you have to record at full size, which for me is 1680x1050. The raw video is about 1 GB per minute then and without a top of the line computer you get some serious performance problems while recording at that size.
On top of that Youtube likes to screw up the quality, even the HD version of this video was shrunk down by Youtube for some reason.

Though since some of the stars in the wormhole systems are older then the universe, it could be that the wormholes take us through time. And that would make the four advanced races (Sleepers, Talocan, Takmahl, Yan Jung) the future of the four empires. Granted, the Talocan only have
structures at this point and I haven't seen anything of the other two. I think Sleepers=Gallentes, Takmahl=Minmatar, Talocan= Amarr, and Yan Jung= Caldari, but thats just by the discriptions of each adv. races skills

There really isn't anything more to tell about the Jove.
Their a race aliens so power and ancient that they've sealed off all stargates to their space, and they never venture out at all mostly because of all the genetic alterations they've done to themselves (it's caused a disease to kill Joves to spread).
There is a backstory of a Jove Mothership once appearing and firing it's gun once and oblitering 1/3 (?) of an Amarr Fleet.
