Just to let everyone that doesn't realize this know, people wouldn't use that to lock their door when leaving anyways because they wouldn't be able to which means the person would have to be home to have that lock on the door

Remember, that tool only helps you break in if someone is already on the premises and you want to get to them. That is the type of catch you have to check who is at the door before you open it fully, not to keep it locked when you are out and about.
