Tim is brutal enough to copy a Mike Tyson style of engaging an opponent. Tim Should hire Mike to train him in this style. If Tim would integrate this style into his striking arsenal and then integrate this into his grappling style... well... He would be a scary dude. Cultural bias negates this path.
Devon, I said one of the best in takedowns and dominent position ground submissions. And, I definitely hold true to that statement in the context of strike force competitors that he has competed against. If there is someone out there that can best his wrestling in those areas, Jacare no excluded, then it hs not been proven in the cage. Jacare was able to neutralize this talent through a striking ability neutralized Tim's pugilistic agression. A Cesar Gracie Boxing style will help him.
@dleerox24 Manny also fights with that style. I am not sure if the phrase has been coined yet but I call it A Ceasar Gracie Style because in all honesty it is Pankration type pugilism at its best. They don't move well because they are afraid of getting hit. They move well to uproot/unbalance an opponent while staying within their reach. They can take a blow because they are structurally sound. They puch to clinch, clinch to knee, knee to take down and ground the enemy to submit them. Magic
Hey Tim it's G from Angel's Gym. You are correct you are one of the best wrestlers in MMA in the areas of takedowns and dominent ground submissions. Also your mental and physical strength in those positions have rarely been tested in the last few matches. But having seen your striking abilities at Tean Rock I am surprised how ineffective and unprogressed your striking offense and defense has become against top-ranked fighters. If you improve this you will be champion in Strikforce & UFC.
This is why you don't bring a knife to a gunfight, folks. Manhoef has a scary stand-up game, but Tim Kennedy is a trained grappler. If you don't have a dedicated ground game, you're never, ever going to beat a grappler on his turf.
@cracklingvoice Agreed...But I do know one thing... If I had to choice whose drink I would rather accidentally knock over t the bar... It would be Kennedy!!! Imagine Manhoef in a street fight lol he would probably kill someone
Why upload a 240p clip in 480p?

1. Chin Down.
2. Bob & Weave
3. Circle and Pivot
4. Jab & Cross to get inside
5. Once there uppercut to lift the head
6. Clinch the head and Knee the snot out of him

Melvin manhoef's grappling is really bad... You can't expect to be tremendously successful in MMA if you're not well rounded.
