  • 251 stupid fucks & counting. Just how dumb does one have to be to dislike this video. Yngwie's skills for the last 30 years just scare people to death. They should listen to the radio. true story.

  • we are not worthy!!!!

  • TOP 5 BEST ROCK GUITARISTS ALIVE:

    1. Steve Vai

    2. Joe Satriani

    3. John Petrucci

    4. Yngwie Malmsteen

    5. Uli Roth

  • @ODrMonstro

All great guitar players, but the order is a little off :P

  • @metlguitar02 what do you say?

  • @ODrMonstro

Idk honestly it's all personal preference. I love them all. I personally would put Malmsteen and Petrucci above the others, but again it's all opinion.

  • imagine how hard he got laid that night

  • how can a 21 year old play like this i don´t get it...

  • @eastwoodize its all in the classical training. it sends you bonkers in the process but you will come out the other end playing an instrument like nobody else can or so it would seem?

  • 4:32

thats what I did to my penis when I first heard a yngwie's solo.

    :P

  • @Alrreola

    lmao

  • from 2:56--4:05 has to be one my favourite solos ever!

  • Saw rising force in 86 with Talas front row. Amazing to say the least. Hendrix, page, Eddie, Randy, yngwie, and Satch. The Evolution Team

  • sweet

  • Well at least nobody has asked for a tab that I can see yet =]

  • @Krazy0Kris i do twice....but in fact there is no tab because of thats "just" some malmsteen licks mixed with classical stuff.....

  • The world will never see such a skilled guitarrist in its soil again.

Until the end of times, Yngwie will reign, supreme in technic, not so much at the soul, but does it matters that much? I don't think so, this is amazing

  • @H4H0hl i would mix the genetic of YM with Jason Becker and Luca Turilly.

  • I heard in a interview from him. That every one wants to hear fast guitar notes..His reply is i dont play fast,i try to play clean which makes it seem faster.Rock on people..Peace

  • the best period of malmsteen was in alcatrazz, the fucking true!

  • well maybe not as much as May and Blackmore but when rhoads started with ozzy , yngwie saw what he was capable of and became also influenced by him but ynwie pretty much surpassed rhoads

  • @sprinkler5802 i know Yngwie is better than most guitarists but randy was one of the first to combine classical with hard rock and yngwie is highly influenced by rhoads

  • @twistedmetalworks1 completely different licks and scales so not really at all... there styles aren't similar at all. I play both there stuff and theres nothing in common. I play malmsteen, rhoads. uli roth, brian may and alittle bit of ritchie blackmore and malmsteen's playing is most influenced by uli and blackmore... hands down

  • @twistedmetalworks1 oh and blackmore, uli and may were combining rock with that signature classical feel way before rhoads even recorded a song... not taking anything away from rhoads but ive studied this shit. I'm not just pulling this outa my ass

  • This is horrible.

  • yngwie is 22 in this vdo right?

  • 3:38 to 3:42 so fucking powerful my head couldnt take it

  • @sprinkler5802 yeah these chords are so fucking awesome

  • @eastwoodize its about as classical sounding and moving as chords get dude

  • Fantastic and truly inspirational.

  • wish i could see what his hands are doing at the end of bouree at 2:38

  • @emokiller907 I wasnt comparing them. Yngwie was highly influenced by both of them, thats all i meant. Randy is not overrated, its not like if you go to JCPenny and see more Randy Rhoads shirts than Hendrix

  • I've seen this movie before ,it was suppose to end differently though !

  • 2:56

  • Even though i'm a fan of Yngwie and have been since at least 84/85, I always bemoaned his lack of 'feel/soul/passion' whatever you want to call it and i hated his godawful tone/guitar sound.

That is, until i watched this. This has got to be my favourite guitar piece by him. His tone doesn't seem as over processed and he really seems to 'give er'.

  • @AlphaGreeky over processed? he's always just plugged straight into a Marshall Plexi with an overdrive pedal. I agree his tone is awesome here, but it always sounded like this back then. He also phrased a lot better back in his pre car accident days.

  • But can he play smoke on the water??

  • If only Hendrix and Randy Rhoads were still alive to see what they have created

  • @twistedmetalworks1 awesome comment. seriously

  • @twistedmetalworks1 don't compare rhoads to hendrix, randy is extremely overated

  • @twistedmetalworks1 rhoads? i dont think so. Talk to brian may and richie blackmore. Either way yngwie's 1,000,000 times better then all of them combined

  • @twistedmetalworks1 its more Eddie van halen than Rhoads there man

  • @twistedmetalworks1 Ritchie blackmore is also one of his many fathers an he is still alive seein this..

  • @Claudioman2009 You can see the Richie Blackmore influence on his apparel.

  • @JimmyPage968 and in the way he destroy his guitars :)

  • @Claudioman2009 So did Jimmy Hendrix and Pete Townshend, but none of us are complaining! :D

  • Anyone that knows what he's playing at 3:44-4:05?

Because, I've heard many others guitar heroes playing that i there concerts. ^^

  • @DragonKlaus1995 what you are thinking of is eruption, but what yngwie played is not that

  • the tune he plays at about 3 minutes or so had to be influenced by Van Halen's Cathedral from Diver Down? Yes?

  • 1:56 yngwie:'Whoo my fingers hurt'

  • que asko ...

  • mi piace sempre asssssai assai assai sto video.. è troppo micidiale xD

  • Yngwie was a trip opening for AC/DC/Fly On The Wall Tour. Everyone booing him and chanting Angus, ANGUS!!! I walked to the very front. I got pictures, picks thrown at me. He was playing to me most of the show. Kinda cool for me at 13.

  • @aaronbergAPB : I was at that tour in Toronto. It was a year after i started playing guitar and Yngwie was all the rage among all the guitar player's guitar players.

  • @AlphaGreeky I had been playing a couple years then and he had some great momentum building. Great photos, great guitars and his early works were tremendously inspired. Thank you for the words.

  • @aaronbergAPB Anyone who wants Angus over Yngwie should be slayed twice, and then slayed again.

  • @obelisc1000 I was in amazement when people were booing him. He wasn't well received on this billing. Angus is completely different and to each his own IMO. Hehe, thanx for the words, ApB

  • @aaronbergAPB I stayed for Yngwie, left when AC/DC came on they probably destroyed thousands of people's hearing, my ears started to shred they were so ridiculously loud... I hate AC/DC to this day for mangling my hearing.

  • @AetroyayorteA I was blasted with decibels and left during AC/DC. It was pandemonium.

  • 2:28 I love that trill so much! :D

  • When god and Randy Rhoades had a baby it's name was Yngwie Malmsteen

  • Holy shit, he was much better in his younger days...

    @irmasil3 yeah, KICKASS tone

  • what are the chords he plays at around :50

  • You're great, but please, don't destroy Bach.

  • @Booza70 ach but he teach him to play guitar, it's different. bye

  • he just won at guitar

  • é incrivel ñ ni canso d ver velho!

  • I have a friend who listens to metallice and pantera, but has never heard of yngwie.

  • THE ... best

  • in the era of the '80s, Eddie Van Halen to dismal reviews in every interview about yngwie rendered him about his playing style, but it was just jealous because he knew the giant who had taken the throne thought untouchable eddie......

  • WHAT A TONE!

  • É FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODA VEIO O Q MALMYSTER FAS COM A GUITARRA É UMA LENDA DAS GUITARRAS COMPETE COM SLASH E SEM DUVIDA ZAKK MILDY.

  • OK... great skills!

    Some song too, please?

  • this is my only youtube comment, the bach part is great.......but the reast is just noise..............fked up phone connection?? no bunch of random guitar sounds played fast

  • @iamsethful then your mind is just too slow to follow up

  • paul gilbert or yngwie ??

  • best yngwie vid imo

  • If Bach himself were alive to see this....

  • I love listening to yingwe its amazing.

  • ...Yeh Malmsteen rocks! And what a great tribute to the Baroque repertoire. I have uploaded a 'Bouree' too, it also rocks but in a different way!!

  • i love hendrix and all those mainstreem guys but why is malmsteen and bation and other guitarits like romeo so unheard of by people?

at least the peeople ive come into contact with

  • @ohwhatacereal BATIO*

  • @ohwhatacereal Because they don't make good songs.

  • @anonymouslolxD you have to be kidding

  • @ohwhatacereal No. I listen to Malmsteen, Batio etc purely for the guitar wizard skills. It's amazing to hear, but would I buy one of their CD's? Fuck no!

  • Dios de la escala harmonica... :o

  • @Metalema666 1. es "armónica" 2. no usa niguna escala armónica aquí, de hecho está lleno de cromatismos.

  • Incredible playing, I hate malmsteens songs but his live solos like this are amazing

  • 5:09 someone was killed by the awesomeness of this guitar solo!! O_o

  • Cool! He plays the Tenacious-D song hahahaa

  • @VitorEmanuelOliver your retarded its not tenacious d its js bach if it was tenacious d why is it being played in 1984 there classico song didnt come out till the movie in 2006

  • @altiodification and @alterbridge111 I am not retarded, but I think you're retarded enough not to understand that I meant the song was played in the movie Tenacious "D"... If it is Bach, Mozart or any kind of music I don't understand, it has nothing to do with the subject I was talking about...

  • @VitorEmanuelOliver lol rtard

  • @VitorEmanuelOliver "nothing to do with the subject I was talking about" except you said "the Tenacious-D song", do you seriously not see how he got misled?

  • @altiodification LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

tenacious D??? that just made my day

  • @felphero nachos rule peace out

  • @altiodification btw that is the best movie ever

  • @VitorEmanuelOliver I hope you're trolling, I really do..

  • @VitorEmanuelOliver are you retarded.. this is from 1986 way before tenacious d existed... this is classical music..

  • You're a dumbass.

  • Paco De Lucia! Now that is speed with emotion! This guy is just noisy just like everyone else who plays this crap.

  • speed isn't everything. Life isn't a race and playing the guitar isn't about how dirty and fast you can make it. I can tell he practices a lot. Boring, gets on my nerves, no expression of emotion. Just a lot of noise.

  • @coolengine2000 Ritchie Blackmore is the first yes!!!!i agree with you

  • ey gallo ese yngwie malmsteen

  • Awesome guitar player though, he makes it look easy lol.

  • How the FUCK do you say his name?

  • @drewlaplanche depends where you are from

  • @evilwc912 True, I should have asked, how does HE say his name? I've never heard of him until i read this guitar book when i was learning.

  • Uhhh, wtf was he doin startin at 4:10 to the end?

  • @RedLobster16 Making really fucking awesome noises.

  • yngwie was sent by god to bring back classical music back.

  • awesome!

  • the only thing about malmsteen and other shredders is that they sound almost the same...

  • @HRHAF wrong

  • that volume knob lick is fuckin' insaneeeeeee

  • Not bad, not bad... but compared to the real god on the guitar- and there is only one, named Gary Moore, it´s a bit thin in my eyes, excuse me for that!

  • @courgan09 Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Gary Moore, but it's a bit wrong to compare him to shredders

  • @miyavizim In fact, Gary Moore is considered as the first real shredder. There is a good reason why shredders like Michael Angelo Batio, Joe Stump, Paul Gilbert, Greg Howe, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, etc. quote Moore as one of their biggest influence. Please listen to this: watch?v=hB0IKLVimz0 (especially to 0:43, Moore picks faster than Malmsteen can sweep).

  • "....and God said let there be shred; and from his heavenly being, Yngwie Malmsteen emerged." - The Bible of Metal.

    (Yeah I'm stoned, so what?)

  • @lolzer178 "...and God said, let there be this fat guy who doesn't know what slow down and play a melody means, and Yngwie Malmsteen emerged."

  • @vaibanez17 and god said i'm fake suck my dick rednecks

  • @lolzer178 hahaha!!!! I don't wanna argue with you. You could be damn right....

  • can't you see he's the man let me here you applaud he is more than a man he's a shining golden god

  • @thelopeisback if you think its time to fucking rock and fucking roll out of control ?

  • Absolutely brilliant extrapolation and execution.(It's, at once, understandable and a pity that Yngwie's works have been largely self-indulgent.)

  • wisch.... jozzzzzzzzzzzz ...

  • at this moment he was the king. and there's been no one to put him from his throne

  • Looking for female guitar players .This one is kinda ugly and flat chested.

  • He is from sweden.. And now he is fat..

  • @evilwc912 He is from Sweden isnt that weird?

  • @Drogers8675 why would it be?

  • @evilwc912 you're right, it would only be vweird if he were from Holland

  • BORING!!!!!

  • i dont get how you can get decent metal tones out of stratocasters especially with single coils

  • The part at 3:00 with the volume knob and the Taurus pedals!!!I could listen to that all day...

  • OMFG

  • master of stratocaster

  • @Pr0xful nah, bro thats jimi hendrix...

  • 1:28 that bend melted my face

  • Comment removed

  • I bet he's been practicing that all afternoon!

  • Stupenda la parte finale!!!!! **

  • Boureé in Eb Minor :D yeah!!! jaja

  • unblievable tone...

  • Classic metal god guitar playing.

  • D: this is me watching the entire video

  • Kereeeeeeennnnn

  • this genre is a real shit

  • @ALDOVB1987 Then don't watch ;)

  • The best neoclassical guitar player ever!!!

  • God damn he is amazing. How refreshing to see someone of his technical prowess go for random dive bombs and feedback.

  • I didn't know Chuck Norris can play guitar

  • @Overlord1389 I didn't know Malmsteen is a western hero ;D

  • @MikeyIV it's Bach

  • a shredder that understands tone!!!! WOW!

  • Comment removed

  • he's only playing with his index finger.... very bad beginning classical technique he has to alternate index and middle! Also he should grow his nails to get a better tone

  • @MikeyIV I'll agree that thumb/index finger playing isn't technically correct, but fingerstyle classical guitar isn't what Malmsteen really ever does, and he wasn't classically trained. I too play thumb/index because that is how I learned on my own - hard habit to break now! And playing with nails on a distorted electric guitar would sound like crap, using your skin dampeds the strings from ringing out horribly.

  • @kingv911 good point, never thought about that... still a great solo though

  • what classical piece is the segment from 3:45 to 4:00 based on? It sounds so familiar i know i've heard it before

  • @MikeyIV its not classical...

  • @NickF97S it's based on one though sounds really familiar

  • @NickF97S no man.. i think you might be confusing it with the tapping bit in eruption by van halen, its an usual thing to do in classical to do tapping over so many octaves

  • 241 people are just jelous

  • @dragonheart6crush or maybe they just don't like it...

  • este sujeto rompio el record

  • Speed isn't everything but Malmsteen actually combines speed, blues, metal, classical, classic rock, with a twist of his own...

The conclusion is: MALMSTEEN IS GOD!

  • how could anyone dislike shredding like this?

  • best yngwie era, good thing JASON BECKER took relay

  • Love how at the end of every thing he plays everything just goes silent..

    0:57, 1:55, etc.

  • THE BEST NEOCLASSICAL SOLO IN THE HISTORY OF METAL!! HELL YEAH!!!
