Hi Russell. Thanks for the video. I too work on these pianos. I have a nice balance- control/mixer box that easily mounts to the piano in about 5 minutes. It allows you to adjust the balance between the orchestration and piano, this way you don't have to climb under the piano and it really makes the performance sound beautiful. Please check it out on ebay. Just search for "pianodisc balance" and you'll see it highlighted in purple.
I need to look into that. I install about 15 systems a month and most are IQ systems. The IQ is great but we lost the convenient balance/sync controls of the 228 CFX and the Piano CD
These are ok, but I would much rather have a well restored Duo Art or Ampico. These just don't sound the same See AmpicoGPm's channel
