@Noosa1978 This is a sect of Hinduism. It did exist a long long time ago, when we are all a lot less educated. However, it has been very over-dramatized for obvious reasons here. It is a fact that many innocents have been sacrificed in the name of Kali, but nowhere near the magnitude of what is shown here.

This is still done even today in some very remote parts of India, but if discovered, the participants in question are immediately persecuted in the court of law.
