I'm a die-hard Yankees fan and I fully respect Jeter (Posada's my favorite player on the team, however), but I can't *stand* A-Rod and the way he plays dirty. At least Jeter's an all-around nice guy and is great for the morale of the team in addition to his spectacular athleticism. Over-paid? Meh, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

and david wright and jose reyes are too young to be compared to arod and jeter. when jeter and arod were their age they were doing better anyway. wright is not gonna not gonna hit over 700 homeruns in his career and reyes is not the all-star type player jeter is. reyes doesnt even have a ring. yankees all the way

Over-paid? they both made the all-star team and putting up GREAT numbers. do you know arod has 51 homeruns this season? i dont think david wright could do that. did you know that derek jeter has his own signiture defensive move at short stop? does reyes? no. dont get me wrong reyes hits well and outsatnding base stealer, wright is good too. but when you compare wrights numbers with arods numbers and same with reyes and jeter, jeter and arod are way better. mets suck GO YANKEES! braves suck 2

Wright and Reyes are great, I love them both, and I'm a Yankee fan. Lets face reality though, A-rod alone puts up better numbers then wright and reyes combined. A-Rod is the best player in the gameright now, and might be the best player ever to step on the field. I can see why people would choose Reyes over Jeter, hes young, speedy, great arm, good range... but can he perform when the pressure is on? We will have to see... Yankees 2007!
