  • amen i love the singing :)

  • thank you JESUS

  • Oops Bruh Deac. Almost lost his bread. Poppin it in his mouth @ 8:06 like he scooping peanuts LOL Don't you just love the black church experience?

  • I love these ol' school singing preachers. You usually have to go to some country church... Patterson... Black ... I love them

  • Wow! I havn't heard this song since I was boy

  • This is the old church, we moved into the new church Oct. 99.

  • YES SIR!!!!!

  • Its been occuring since the old days when they used to have to keep flies out of it. It has no signifigance at all really.

  • @ladytraveler Rev. Black sho' can sang

  • @BrothaRollins Oh yes he can! I'm coming to ATL and going there on Sunday!

  • I think holding the sheet up is something I've seen more in churches in the south. I'm baptist and we don't even have a sheet on the table anymore due to amount of trays we now use to serve with. It's some kinda tradition is all I can think to tell u. May have no spiritual significance but a historical tradition to our culture.

  • @ldyjcj2 Its a tradition that goes back to the day when blacks worshiped in old buildings, holding the sheet gives it a reverence.....thats all

  • I did not grow up Baptist, so I am wondering what is the significance of holding the white sheet up in front the emblems and table during the LS? I know that now the white sheet is tradition for churches since we don't have to worry about flies, etc in our buildings, but i have never seen it used to hide the emblems during the partaking.

  • @fhu07 I don't know. I'm Baptist and we don't do this.

  • @fhu07 I can remember that they would actually prepare the elements while that was being held up. Brake up the crackers and pouring the juice was all done right there

  • Awesome.
