How many ppl are swimming, surfing, diving etc. in the

oceans every year ?

2.)

How many shark attacks against humans are registered every year ?

This shows very clearly that the risk to die by

a car accident, bridge collapse, or gunshot in a average western City when using the street is much higher, than the risk getting attacked by sharks

when using the sea.

So plz. stop demonize sharks.

We could watch them and learn from that. And it's not the same as lightning. Lightning just does whatever nature makes it. We have to defend ourselves from lightning. We shouldn't have to do that with sharks. Sharks are our friends and if we treat them right they won't hurt us. Good enough for you?

They don't attack much, but when they do, the people they attack aren't usually out there just to piss off sharks. How would we study sharks without envading their territory? The only way I can think of to not get attacked by sharks is to not be around them.
