no i like that one. i think top thrill and kingda are ok but why couldnt they have made it longer once it crested the top like this ride here. i refuse to stand in line anymore for 3 hrs for a 20 sec ride.

That looks like an EPIC launch coaster! Why doesn't Intamin make more LIM/LSM coasters like this? I have a feeling they wouldn't break down as often as the hydraulic coasters.

@robbalvey RCDB says LSM, though given the max speed and time involved, I wonder if it's LIM.

The main difference that I know is LSMs are used for a constant smooth acceleration (Maverick lift hill), where LIMs are used for rapid acceleration (Maverick launch tunnel, Wicked Twister, Back Lot Stunt Coaster, Flight of Fear, etc.).

This looks like a wicked ride, though.

I went on this a couple of weeks ago and just loved it. It's a pretty insane ride and there are very few dull spots. Interestingly though on the first bunny hill after the top hat in this vid there are three brake fins, there is only one now !

@rollercoasterfan97 The versions on the DVD will have more footage, however they aren't getting shorter. It depends on the length of the ride and the amount of footage we have. For a launched coaster, this one being 2:30 is still pretty long. Katun was 3:00, Mammut was 3:50, Antelope and Joris & the Draak were both over 6:00, Knightmare was over 3:00, etc. Sorry to disappoint you. I could always just not post these videos at all. :(
