Someone on facebook mentioned the welney wash so I googled it and this video came up, glad I looked! What a great place to build a road, seems funny that it's this road or 15 mile detour to some people, then they're surprised when people risk it and get stuck lol.
I have a fear of water and that really wavey patch was just scarey, sales of tall 4x4's and snorkel kits must be very high in that area!
been through a lot of times in my firms isuzu but for a real bottle tester try just as the lights fading its scares the hell out of you especially as it was only just passable when i did it.
heh i drove down there a few weeks later, thankfully the water level had dropped below the road but it was a great view driving along with water lapping up both sides of the road.
Cool video, we use this road when we visit family living near to Kings Lynn. We have seen it flooded but not this bad and unfortunately don't have a 4 x 4 so haven't experienced the drive through.
