Don't Turn Around

Don't Turn Around will be shown to my children, future generations will carry a copy of Don't Turn Around in their back pocket like a worn copy of Catcher in the Rye- a peice of work that understands them on a level they previously didn't understand them selfs. I wish there were more stars I could give. If I could, I would give one star for every tear I shed because of the sheer beauty, and even then, it would not be enough. Bravo, Sarah and Steph, Bravo.

Once every few decades, a film is released that becomes a defining characteristic, a movie becomes assimilated into the collective unconscious of a generation. Citizen Cane, Taxi Driver, Schindler's List- and now Don't Turn Around. It is as if the director of this movie has reached into the peoples hearts and minds and taken their most private pain, anguish, joy, and fear and splayed it across the screen in raw, exposed footage.
