Hey Bryan, Scottie Clarke here drummer/vocals Free Fare 1990-1991 tour and the '93 XL recordings. I've got to say, This is a great video. It really brings me back. Great chops and grooves! I wish there were a video of my band or drum solo. I can't hardly recall what I did back then. I remember pouring water on the snare and popping it all up into the lights and doing the slow to fast build ups and speed double bass but it would be fun to see how I connected the dots. Fun! Thanks! Peace!
I remember the Freedom Jam/Free Fare folks. I auditioned for them in like 1981-1982. They wanted me to meet their band in West Virginia and play with them on the road. Being the very stupid 18 year old at the time, my girlfriend didn't want me to go, so I didn't go (duh)... still a regret 30 years later.
Hiya uncle!~ I had no idea you were so good at the drums! I've always wanted to rock the drums so I must say, you have some mad talent there! XD I guess I learned something new today!
I still have that solo stuck in my head all these years later. No one could top ur double bass licks! Thanx for posting. Hey, remember the shows you went left-handed? What a show-off!!!
You can check out what ur old keyboard player is doing now by clicking on my user name. Send me a PM. I'd love to catch up.
