@Zoddicans272 Well damn, my point must be lost then. At least I tried. I appreciate your insight, though. Could you also teach me the rules of hyphenation?
@TheUnclesidandthegay there's a difference between tone deaf and pitchy, which Brent Hinds tends to be. If he were tone deaf, he wouldn't even sound good on record.
@reydemagival Point. I think people need to realize that these guys are singing in a way they didn't really start doing until 3 years earlier at the point this concert was recorded, so put that on top of playing their instruments and trying to control your breathing and all that shit that comes with singing. I see it like this, they're singing without pitch aid and still never missing a note or missing a beat. Thats commendable.
sounds exactly like the album version. for the keyboard and extra effects on crack the skye mastodon bought in an extra musician for this show. you can see him on a few vids.
Best vocals i've heard by them on this version.

@TheUnclesidandthegay I don't think you know what being tone-deaf actually means.

the "black robe, necromancing. summon the soul of the spectre" part always gives me goosebumps. you can really hear the frustration in Brent's voice.

Hot damn! The vocals on this version are TIGHT! Especially in the pre-solo part - Hinds nails it!

Does anyone know if the banjo (I think it's a banjo) intro is being sampled? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious.
