Only a few decades ago everybody knew the airwaves belonged to the people. We could watch television for free before cable or satellite television existed. Nobody thought cable television would ever work because television was free, why would we pay a monthly fee. The cable television companies' sales pitch was pay a monthly premium and there will be no commercials. HA!!! What a joke! Now Murdoch owns over 50% of everything we see and hear in the world-newspapers, magazines, billboards!!
