  • This sucks balls its so boring...

  • why would people dislike this its amazing

  • i would love to perform on Titanic someday, i would love to play Rose

  • @missey3455

You do realise that this has absolutely nothing to do with the James Cameron movie, right?

This Musical is about ACTUAL people who were on board the Titanic, and it focuses on EVERYONE on it, there are no central characters or any "My Heart Will Go On" song in it.

I am going to be in a production of this next year, I'll be playing Fleet, who was lookout (the guy at 0:41)

The show isn't like a flanderization, it actually does have it's deep moments.

    Hoping my one's okay! =3

  • @babclayman1

I am related to Frederick Fleet the lookout. He was the Grt Grandson of my Grt Grt Grandfathers sister. So do a good job!. He commited suicide in Jan 1965.

  • i don't know i guess i find it disrespectful to have a titanic musical

for me it's like having a 9/11 musical like wtf

  • @triplethreatlol101 How on Earth is it disrespectful?? Theatre is about portraying a story to an audience, it just so happens this was a very emotional story, which only makes for better theatre. You're obviously one of these people who stereotype musical theatre as about performers prancing about on stage with jazz hands and smiles singing merrily about silly things. Musical theatre can be (and mostly is) powerful, emotion and moving.

  • @idinafanboi no i definitely am not one of these people you shouldn't make assumptions about people you don't know. it is a beautiful song but i guess i just don't understand it and i never will. these perfomers are awesome but i just don't think it should be titanic. Much love

  • @triplethreatlol101 Well judging from your comment (which is all I have to go on) you ARE one of those people. Sorry but how do you not understand the song? It's pretty obvious the passengers are admiring the Titanic, about to board it, then bid farewell.

And well, of course everyone's entitled to their opinion but you gave no just explanation why you are against a musical of Titanic. I personally think the Titanic tragedy makes for a perfect piece of theatre.

  • @idinafanboi well i just don't apprectiate that it's about a tragedy that's all i'm against....i do musical theatre and drama as a hobby and i don't always do the nicest pieces i just find tragedies the hardest to swallow. especially real ones that happened

  • @idinafanboi nor am i saying that your opinion is wrong either everyone has their views

  • I love the ringing high C the sopranos sing at the end.

  • Henry Stram performs with such passion and love for the music... as an actor he inspires me to immerse myself into character and give it my all.

  • my comminuty theatre just announced we were doing this show. i just about DIIIEEEEDDD <3 <3 <3

  • goosebumps...

  • This is one of my favorite musicals.

  • I love how you can totally see that shadow of the conductor :p

  • BRIAN D'ARCY JAMES!, i think i screamed a little.

  • If that little boy at the end in the gray suit played Edward (the little page boy who is left on the ship), I don't think anything could stop me from crying!

  • @uzurimiradi I think he played Jack Thayer. I'm pretty sure that's the only child character in the musical... Not positive though.

  • @uzurimiradi He played Jack Thayer. I just checked Wikipedia. (oh, and he lives)

  • I remember watching this when I got home from school one day. Titanic made me fall in love with musical theatre. I studied theatre in college and now I'm a professional director. This clip changed my life. Thanks for sharing.

  • huh when the musical first opened Rosie railed against it...

  • @rce8rg Rosie also had issue with Annie Get Your Gun because of .............guns.Still,I think she was hoping to be in a production of it .

  • smoke from her funnels hehe

  • LOVE THE OPENING NUMBER...THE SECOND ACT IS PRETTY WEAK TILL, SADLY ( EXCEPT FOR OPENING NIGHT) IT SINKS.....

  • My favourite musical <333

  • IT' SHREK!!!! haha

  • Brian D'Arcy James is awesome that was a sad but beautiful song! First time I ever heard it and I wish I could see this show and that kid was so cute

  • go on Brian D'arcy James :D

  • I just found out that my school is doing this musical next year!!

  • Why in the hell was this a musical?

Surely I am no the only one that thinks this...

  • @1037pm I agree that the fate of the titanic has gone overboard.just let the people who lost thier lives rest in peace and stop making money off a huge disaster

  • Ughhhhh. I want that lifejacket.

  • OK..it never fails everytime i hear this.. I CRY MY EYES OUT...

that this is repeated at the end just rips my heart out...

I saw the touring cast just after broadway ended.. IT WAS AN AMAZING NIGHT..!

  • BRIAN D'ARCY JAMES...

    rocks

    :D

  • totally agreed. It's so clear and powerful :)

  • What is the name of this song?

  • "In Every Age" is the opening number.

  • Thanks

  • Yes but these songs are a mash up of:

    "How did They Build Titanic?"

    "There She Is"

"I Must Get on That Ship" and

    "Godspeed Titanic"

  • yea we did this too (i was barrett). its unbelievibly hard to get done as a high school play though

  • I would have loved to see that!!!

  • @HaMicah87 Titanic comes back! in 2012 they make a European tour! Can't wait till then :)

  • @HaMicah87

same here! i never knew there was a musical for Titanic

  • cool

  • We did this show last year : ) an amazing show. you can't help but feel the power of this opening number as well as the end.

  • 2:13 Thou shall not tap thy fingers arithmically to music

  • then any holocasut movie is poor taste too?

  • I was in the show in my home town and trust me being in it is amazing and really sad to have to die so many times!

  • why is this scene such a tearjerker???

  • i remember seeing this Rosie show it was great

  • The opening song is a tearjerker, as it is a great opening. I love the show and I saw it three times.

  • i loves me some david elder and BDJ
