@zdustin19 Actually, I'm quite sure they gave him his name for two reasons. "Dormin" is I velieve Latin, but I'm not quite sure, for "Demon". Also it could be a biblical referance to Nimrod, seeing as Dormin is Nimrod backwards. Nimrod was the person who oversaw the building of the Tower of Babel, and, like Dormin, his soul was split up into many pieces.

I need help. I've beaten Shadow a shit load of times. But i know nothing about the game. like, Why does the Main Character turn into a demon, what is the point in killed the Colossi and who is Dormin? Sorry if it makes me look like a complete dick but I just want to know. It's an amazing game and I just want to learn more and more about it.

@Stephensonicmaster The Colossi are basically, Dormin split into 16 pieces. They are into those huge beasts so that no one can ever summon him again unless they kill him with the sword Wander has.

Dormin is an evil being, that's all there is to it. He's evil.

Wander gets possesed by dormin due to all the essences of dormin going inside him (notice the black things going inside him everytime you kill a colossi)

Dormin tricked Wander into releasing him again by releasing his Essences.

I wouldn't say the Dormin is evil.. It's just a matter of perspective. Wander wanted the girl to be revived. He did what the Dormin wanted, and the Dormin were true to their word. So they never tricked him, because they actually did what they promised to do.
