What isn't a ripoff nowdays? Except now their called remakes or reboots...please just another term for 'I'm out of ideas here and had to copy someone else to get on the big screen and the studio's gave me lots of money thinking it was original because they don't have a creative bone in their bodies' etc....whenever there's a successful film there'll be at least one copy...or as they do nowdays a sequel to hide the fact they're copying success and trying to cash in on the original...
This is such a blatant rip off of the movie "Horror of the Wax Museum" starring Vincent Price. If it is some kind of remake it would have kept the original title. They even named the killer Vincent.

@navychickavt16 Actually you got it wrong. Mystery Of The Wax museum stared Lional Atwill which was REMADE as House Of Wax with Vincent Price.
